I think I prefer the look of solid black wrinkle, and I know I prefer the blue door on the hammer tone

It's kind of irrelevant, as I'll be putting in an order for a Dready door when the Derringers drop from Catfish Heaven (with a matching Dready Derringer cap). Pretty certain they'll end up on the BW mod.

You really only need one (built to last) but my piece of mind comes with my 3rd one being brand new, wrapped in its own blanket, tucked safely away in a fire proof safe along with everything needed noalox included. Just juice up and go in case of an emergency or have to bug out. Now come the woodies for special events then the resins for well I'm sure I'll think of something. Oh let's not forget some rebuild kits (haven't needed them yet) 4 was the number I felt comfortable with.

I've yet to find a door thst don't look good on my lp/sl hammertone. I really dig the metallic red door on mine.
