Yeah I'm pretty pumped. Just gotta figure out this RM2. Gotta a real airy draw, so i need to find a way to tighten it up a bit.

It's funny but if you continue to use the airy draw for about 2 days you will acclimate and never be able to suck vapor thru a small straw again. I speak from experience :)

Funny you should say that, the more I'm using it the more I don't notice it. I'm gonna try a higher PG liquid next to see how the through hit is. I'm using boba's bounty right now and it's has a great flavor but no throat hit at all.

Yup you'll definitely get used to it. I just got my rm2 yesterday and the airflow feels normal to me because I use Protanks. When I first tried the protank it was airy as hell. Got used to it after a while.

When I first read your thread title I thought there was a stainless steel version of the Reo lol.

Duff, if you raise your coil it will increase TH. consequently, lowering your coil lowers TH. I like mine low but slightly sloped upwards sp its higher on the juice hole side (so the juice hole is not obstructed) like this:

Pdibberdabber enlightened me on the TH vs coil height deal. He knows these things :)

DZero: Thank you, yeah you are the third or fourth person that came in here saying that's the reason they came in, lol, but nope this is my fleet of space shuttle reo's.

Congrats! Nice scores!

By the title for a second I thought Robert was releasing a SS 304 or 316 mod. Thought to myself damn that would be heavy but I would have to get one!

That, my man, is 27 ga Kanthal A1 around a 17 ga needle. Vapes like the dream I never even dreamt - that's the bi-polar build (calm or balls to the wall regulated by trigger finger :))

Yup, 27 Kanthal has been my favorite since I got it for my adv Grand. I don't do the "bi-polar" build that X does but I did experience it on my very first few coils using it. I stay right at 1.0 ohm to avoid prefiring. On my Mini 2.1 I went back to 28g @ 1.2 ohm to get slightly more batt life out of it. Plus the juice I use in the Mini 2.1 tends to cook easier at lower resistances.

Yeah I got to RM2's one for the Grand and one for the mini 2.1. Unfortunately the one RM2 has to go back to Rob today, got sent the wrong one, nickel instead of brass, so I'm gonna mess around with the different ohms for both once I have two I can use. 1.4 seems to work good on the mini, and I'm thinking I wanna try 1.3 on the grand and if it's to hot I'm gonna go back to 1.5ohm. 1.5ohm seems to be the sweet spot for all the liquids I vape.
