When you smoke an analog, your done when the cig is almost burnt to the filter, for me it was about at least 30 min before I would light another.

With the e cig. there is no "ok this session is finished, put it down and pick it up again 30 min later." I find myself picking the e cig up every 10 to 15 minutes non stop. When I start to feel light headed or nauseous that's when I put it down at wait maybe 20 -30 min before I pick it up again.(BTW I am using 24 MG juice) I started with 8 MG which didn't work to keep me off the analogs. 24 seems to keep me from craving the analoges.

I'm sure a lot of you veterans have gone though this same dilemma when you first started vaping. Just wondering if any of you has some advice on this.

Thanks
Alan

Keep on keepin' on?

I just go by time now. Well, when I'm at work I do. Go out on a smoke break and roughly time it with other smokers. That's how I guage it.

At home though, it's just chain vaping nonstop. I'd say you're doing alright. Just do what your body tells you. Craving? Vape away. When the craving's gone, up to you when to stop. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah , it's real easy to "chain vape" If you remember about many hits , you got off a cigarette , the just do the same amount on the E-cig , then wait like you did with the ciggy's . And I'm one to talk , cause I chain vape , till my chest hurts , then I backoff for a few minutes , then hit it again .

I'm sure that "chain vaping" is better than "chain smoking" any day. Thanks

I consider myself to be a hopeless chain vaper. I'll pick up my PV and take hits off of it all day long! I do put it down for a few minutes when I have to use both hands for something like cooking or typing. If I'm sitting on the couch, driving or going for a walk, then my PV is almost always in my hand. My suggestion is to cut down the nicotine a bit, say 18mg. That's what I vape and it works just fine for me. You might also want to keep a glass of water close by so you can stay hydrated.

I concocted up my own 6mg flavor at GV for bed, but it turned out tasting a lot better than I expected so I've been vaping it constantly without any nausea or anything. I think that's one of my favorite differences of vaping. No filters gonna tell me my relaxation session is over. Maybe my boss, but that's about it.

Just crossed 9 months vaping and I chain vape when driving, on the computer, and pretty much whenever I can. I do find I can go longer without vaping or even thinking about it when I am busy or can't vape than I ever could with cigarettes.

Pretty soon as a vaper, you stop thinking and measuring in terms of smokes. Using Reos, I measure in terms of recharging batteries or bottle refills.

Welcome to the world of vaping and don't stress how much you are vaping as long as you are enjoying it, feel good, and are getting plenty of water.

Woman of Heart,

I think I will be like you for a while (A hopeless "Chain Vapor".) My plan is to cut the nicotine level down gradually. Right now the 24 mg is keeping off the analogs. As soon as I am off the anaologs for say a month.( I still smoke about 5-6 analogs a day) I'll go to 18. then 12 etc. That is my plan!!!!

Thanks for the reply

Alan ... you don't need a "plan" with vaping ... just DO IT ... like any good old Nike commercial. It doesn't hurt you any! It doesn't give you cancer! It doesn't limit your breathing or make you hack up lungers every morning! It doesn't make your hair, clothes, car, house smell like .... ... it's just a "good thing". PM me if you need reinforcement.

That explains why you're feeling nauseated and getting headaches! You might be getting too much nicotine from the combination of vaping and smoking, even though you aren't smoking very often. I switch between 18 and 24mg, but stick mostly to 18mg these days. I use 24mg when I really, really want a cigarette and that does the trick. There isn't anything wrong with using two or more different nic levels and that's just one more reason to vape!

I have found that I vape far more than I ever used to smoke. I would smoke 5 analogs a day MAX, but usually it was just social smoking when drinking or with friends. However, I still recognised this as an addiction and switched to vaping to remove the urge completely.

Now that i'm vaping, it's suddenly become an all day habit! And an enjoyable one at that :p
