Congrats on you and your wife
I was sceptical at first if these e-cigs are actually going to work. Its a whole new frontier and learning curve and after smoking 35 years and countless tries to quit. The day my wife came home with our ego kits our lives changed and for the better and were not looking back. Get your 20 posts I think and get the not smoked counter in your signature and let the numbers tell you how foolish we've been all those years. I never thought of how many cigs we actually smoked and the number is mindboggling. The monies not being paid to the tobacco company is now kinda free car payment and some on the mortgage now, kinda like winning a personal lottery:)

I tried this switch a couple years ago unsuccessfully, I was active duty Navy, on Submarines and separated from my family for two years. I originally tried with a setup from Vapornine in Jacksonville, FL, but it was all PG juice, somehow it just made me cough every I vaped it. Fast forward to last weekend, I'm now Retired and back at home, we were walking the flea market in Jacksonville and came upon a booth that was selling the Ego style setup, the wife tried it and liked it, I tried it and agreed, they informed us it was all VG stuff, I was sold and we bought a setup and some juice. Now trying to find the perfect setup with different clearomizers and juices, the Journey continues!!!

a week is a big deal, great for you!!!

EARWAX, like you I switched first because my wife was skeptical. Unlike you, it wasn't difficult at all because I liked vaping better than smoking. Once my wife saw me not smoking for nearly 2 weeks she made the switch too.

It's been just over a week for me, too. My husband is still in "observation mode."

This sounds familiar. I tried a couple of years ago with the cigarette-looking stuff that was being sold then (don't recall brands), and was supremely disappointed -- if I got any vapor at all, I either couldn't feel it or it'd take a chunk of lung with it, but most of the time I just got drips of juice in my mouth. Useless.

Last weekend I had a bit of a housewarming party in my new place, and one of my buddies had along an APV of some kind; took a couple of hits and was quite impressed. A couple of days later I brought home a zmax and a couple bottles of tobacco-flavored juice from a local brick-and-mortar vaping shop; yesterday I smoked maybe 4 analogs, all of them outdoors (yes, had even been smoking inside my new home) -- and I'm a 35 year 2 1/2 pack a day smoker.

Thinking this may well take this time.
