I started collecting my vaping equipment last year August. In my arsenal, I have two provari, battery charger, couple of ViVi nova, Kanger T3, Z-atty pro and lots of sample ejuices to try. All this and I haven't even started vaping til last week. I felt intimated with the new technology. I kept putting it off even though I really wanted to quit the cancer sticks. Illness forced my hand. I didn't smoke for three days. What a great start. Well, not the sick part! I overcame my insecurities and learned to properly vape because my health depends on it. I could kick myself because I waited this long. I love it. After the fourth day, I took a puff off a analog and it was repulsive! So thank you all so much for the encouragement, great information and ideas.

Congrats on the switch!!

I think ecig tech is a lot like cars or computers. There's a ton of info you can learn and use, tons of mods to make, if you want to. But you don't have to get that deep if you don't want to and it's perfectly OK to have a daily driver or basic PC. There is, however, a certain level of basic knowledge and upkeep that will keep you happy with your device and make it perform better and last longer.

Oh I know. Took tons of reading for me to get to this point. Right now, I am learning to rebuild my novas, kangers and zatty pro (just realize I gotta buy a magnifying lamp) and soon will look into DIY ejuice. Why? Because there's a good chance the feds will get their mitts on the vape experience in April.

I'm so glad you took advantage of illness. In 34 years, I quit several times only because I got sick. When healthy again, I took up smoking again. It was disgusting at first but foolishly kept smoking. To be honest, if it weren't for ecigs, I think I would have started smoking again this time.
BTW, congrats on quitting the cancer sticks.
