AuntLea and I have hit our one week point vaping.
We love it! Still have the occasional cig, but I am not going to complain about 2 packs in a week at this point.
We started with an eGo-C starter kit. Fortunately I had the presence of mind to order an eGo-C Twist 1000mAh battery & CE4+ V2 clearomizer. This turned out to be a very good thing as we soon realized that laying the eGo-C down caused severe leakage. I gave up on the tank system in a matter of hours ...
2 eliquid shipments later - the hunt for the all day vape is on - has led us to some interesting finds. First one for me was High Caliber Killa Vanilla. Thought I loved it, but Cin-a-bun (2nd shipment) is better.
I also can see that I am going to have to get a couple of more eGo-C Twist batteries. The staying power those things have until they die is really good. I am getting a consistent taste throughout each battery charge cycle (so far). The standard 1000mAh batteries that came with the starter kit just do not have the same characteristics.
I am intrigued by all of the "mods" out there, but am equally intrigued by the use of the term mod itself in this context. A "mod" everywhere else is a slang term meaning a modification to a standard product. These so-called mods are products all of their own.
Their owners are so religious about the experience I am turned off by all of them at this point. Since I started my career in electronics I can easily see me making my own at some point (probably soon).
I am also encouraged by the standardization of the various technologies for such a young industry. A 510 is a 510 regardless of what it looks like. You simply need to mind the resistance of the thing you are screwing into your 510 compatible battery. This is a sign of a much more mature industry. Good job vendors!
I have much more to learn but have been able to take advantage of the experience of folks at ECF and a couple on YouTube.
Any good Twitter follows out there?
So, what was your first week like? What did you learn in that first week?
