It is one year today that I stopped smoking analogs and started vaping. It has been a amazing journey and I have loved ever day of it. It started with Mistec's from Walmart then Blu's then ego's and on to MOD'S. I have come so far from that first day that I can't even believe it. It started out as a way to get off analogs but has turned into so much more. Besides the health benefits of not taking my meds for high blood pressure any more [ which was a ten year deal] I feel so much better. Any time I can talk to a smoker about trying ecig and vaping you can't shut me up. It has become so much more to me than a way to stop smoking but a way of life. I have always said that when you can find a battery, a delivery system [ tank, carto atty] that works for you life is good. It has all been a learning experience but I have loved every minute of it. The vapeing world has been awesome. I now have so many MOD's, Tanks, and juice, that my wife and friends think I'm crazy. Who knows maybe I am but that's ok. All I know is that after smoking for over 40 years I have quit. It has been one year today and I am so, so HAPPY!!!

YAY!!!! What a milestone. I am so HAPPY for you. Even if wife really thinks you've gone over the edge, she has to admit it is for the better. The decrease in meds alone should make her very happy.

Congratulations! You rightfully should be very proud of your accomplishment. I too smoked for more than 40 years and thought the kids would have to bury me with a carton of cigarettes by my side. The last time I smoked a cigarette I gagged and had to put it out and throw away the rest of the pack. As I was walking to the trash can I started crying tears of joy. I've been smoke free for 20 months now, and I'm down to 3mg nicotine. YESSS!

Congratulations on your one year anniversary! What a stunning acomplishment. I bet you feel a lot better too. And to be off the blood pressure medication is priceless. Wonderful to hear of your success.

Quitting was something I wanted to do for decades but had slowly lost hope I would ever achieve. Funny how once you quit you want to smack every smoker you come across over the head and hand them a good vape setup.

Congrats. For me, it was never a path to cessation, just an alternative (and superior) nic delivery system.
