Only 1 out of 9 cartos makes good vapor!

So I recently got deep into V4L's flavors and batteries and stuff, but my only complaint is that I ordered a pack of VG Menthol Cartos with my initial order. They shipped it along with 1 Peach Cobbler Carto and 1 Apple Cinnamon Cranberry Carto. The Apple was AMAZING! Greatest flavor and vapor ever, but every other Carto I have received has had very poor vapor production. Think of like an analog on a windy day, almost nothing seen at all. I also recieved a Mint Carto and Margarita Carto with my order of Green Apple Nobacco juice and WOWboy juice. WOWboy is awesome btw but if I put it in any other Carto but the Apple Cinnamon Cranberry one the WOW VAPOR GOES AWAY! Something is special about this Apple Carto and I can't figure it out. It came with a soft tip where as all but 1 other one came with the hard tip and rubber stopper. Internally it looks the same, it doesn't hold liquid better than the others, infact this one leaks quick easily right after filling.

I can't figure it out!

I've found that I really only enjoy v4L cartos on their pass thru. I use it at the computer and in the car. However, sometimes when I chain vape they tend to start tasting burnt. I have to back off a bit and the flavor comes back. But I would not say I'm a huge fan of theirs.

If you are vaping, and you hear a gurgling sound in a carto, it means that we've given you too much juice. Blow it out into a tissue for a couple seconds, and you will be up and running right away.

VG is a thicker juice, and may also just need a few extra vapes to get started. Are you getting any flavor and throat hit?

Vapin, it's hard to say. I vape the VG menth cartos and find that they produce great vapor compared to the dozens of other flavs (both vg and pg) that I've tried. That said, the soft-tip premium cartos usually produce more vapor, and the VG menth is not yet available in prem cartos.

The VG Menthol produced good vapor but not GREAT like the Apple Cinnamon that they sent with it as a sample Carto. It doesn't matter what juice I put in it it instantly creates amazing vapor. So I know it isn't just the juice itself, its the Carto. It is also the only one I haven't cleaned by boiling... maybe that killed all the other ones???

All of the Cartos give great TH and Flavor, but ok vapor. The Apple one gives AMAZING TH and Flavor, and AMAZING vapor lol the only difference I can see is that there seems to be a longer filler in the Apple, as in it goes almost all the way to the white cap inside, maybe the others are too compacted?

The other Cartos I can also see straight thru the little hole. Its completely clear, but the Apple filler seems to be a little in the way, as in I can barely see any light thru it.

Yeah, if you got hard caps with the silicone o-rings, those would be the regular cartos. They are all that V4l carried when I started trying V4L products around the beginning of this year. They are being replaced with premium and cool carts. They are okay, but they don't produce as much vapor. They do work well on the PT. There is definitely a reason they are cheaper.

The premiums burn a little hotter and produce good vapor & TH.

The cool carts don't get hot and produce good vapor. They also hold more liquid. I've seen some posts saying that the TH is less on cool carts. I haven't noticed this.

I filled an old regular cart just to compare & was surprised at how much of a difference there is.

Please define "throat hit" or TH to me. I usually vape straight to the lungs, but I don't understand what the term "throat hit" refers to...what sensation are you talking about? I am a 50 year ex-smoker, and never heard that expression until coming to vaping.

It's not all that easy to define. Kinda "you'll know it when you feel it". If you get enough (too much) NIC it will cause you to hack big time.

The TH is the amount of affect the vapor has on your throat during inhaling. From nothing to scratchy to barbed wire.

I agree with this. I never noticed the 'throat hit' until I had cut back on my nicotine. I tried a higher nicotine juice last week and started coughing.

For me the feeling is a combination of the heated vapor hitting your throat, and the feeling your get from the nicotine, which leaves a kind of burn almost like when you eat spicy foods.

The VG cartos are our old manufacturer's cartos. They don't produce as much vapor as the premium or coolcarts, and you have to puff a couple of dozen times before they get "warmed up" and really start producing their full vapor level. That's half of the difference.

The other half is the juice. Our WOWvapor juices produce more vapor than regular e-juices, and are almost on a par with the VG juices for vapor.

BUT....Most need some TH. You get it from cigarettes but were so accustomed to it over a period of time you didn't notice. No TH for some means constant vaping to get that same feeling they got from smoking, not realizing that it isn't so much the heat they end up with but the TH they're missing.

Doesn't apply to everyone, but if you want the total experience a little TH is a good thing for many people.

Throat hit is like this to me. Go from smoking Misty Lights to smoking Marlboro Reds. It's like smoking the first time again. But then again I gave my 36mg kr8 to a Marlboro Reds smoker to try and she almost fell off her bench from the rush and Throat Hit. Its called throat hit because you feel it, in your throat. Its a tickling, pinching, a tap, scratch, anything. I associate it with a quick headrush usually.

Definately hard to describe throat hit but for me it means I feel something. Lack of throat hit feels like air and is not satisfying at all, even if there was clouds of vapor, which there never is.
