So far the longest I've been able to make an atomiser last is a week. I've soaked them in alcohol, soaked them in water, used baking soda and vinegar to do the volcano method and the dry burn until the wick goes orange ten times wash and repeat method but nothing is making them last. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Haven't tried boiling them as that just seems a little extreme for electrical equipment but any other suggestions would be appreciated. I'm living in South Korea so it costs a lot to have them posted over and even more to buy them here so really need to find a method to make them last longer if possible. Thanks in advance.

The baking soda and vinegar is the absolute best method I've tried, but if they're pretty bad, it takes multiple cleanings. I also rinse in lemon juice after the soda/vinegar shake and rinse. Also let them dry, laying on their sides on a paper towel, somewhere warm overnight. Some have recommended cutting the oven on to about 250 degrees while you're cleaning and then cut it off and put the attys in for overnight. I had one atty I was going to toss but decided to clean it at least 4 times first. It fired up like brand new!

Best of luck!!

Thanks Trucapri I will persevere and hope for the best! @ Charlz that's what I did the first couple of times when they started tasting bad but it didn't do anything to alter the taste so I got a little more aggressive but neither approach seems to be working :-( Not even a heavy user, maybe 2ml a day so not sure where I'm going wrong.
