OOps! Bought some kanger T3s -don't fit Volt x2s

Re: title-Purchased some Kanger T3 Bottom coil tanks for ego type batts thinking they would thread onto my Volt X2 batts.I had read in another thread that some folks were successful but alas,it's a no go.tried adjusting the battery post on the T3,but still hits the post on the X2 before the threads can catch.What do I need to make this work? Thanks for your input

Try an 808-eGo adapter is the only advice I have. I've never done, so I don't know how well it would work.

they may make eGo-eGo adapters as well, but I'm not sure. If so, it would probably make it more flush with your battery.

Don't lose hope. There's ego-808 adapters out there for just that purpose. Not sure of the specifics since I never needed them, but they only cost a couple of bucks. Someone will be along soon with better details I'm sure.

May i just need a spacer? Isn't the Volt X2 an ego threaded batt also?

So what's the solution? I'm looking HARD at the Kanger T3s since I'm still getting lemon after lemon with my C3s. This is getting frustrating. I've gone back to cartos! THE HORROR!

You need a 901/808D to eGo adapter to use a Kanger T3 on an X2 manual battery.

I had to google the 901/808D to eGo adapter, because not all vendors carry this particular adapter. I did finally found them here:

But do understand there will be a small gap between the battery and the bottom of the T3 due to the adapter. The T3 that I had would screw onto my two manual X2's, but none of the manual ones.

I was not very happy with the T3 + manual X2 with adapter. Too airy even blocking one of the airholes. You might like the airyness but I didn't care for it. We should have SI's T3 very soon... hopefully before Christmas.

I got an ego twist just to be able to use the Kanger T3's that I purchased.... BIG Improvement!

Have my T3 on my X2 auto. Works great. Actually helps with the airy draw that I noticed when I use it on my manual X2 or my Innokin Lea Cross with 510 to ego adaptor. Really want SI's version of T3. To get the T3 on my X2s, I lightly pushed down on the T3 while slowly screwing it to the X2. No thread damage on X2 (which is why I tried it with my auto first so I wouldn't damage my every day use manuals.) Tons of vapor, but I actually like the flavor from the X2 clearos better. T3 reminds me of a mega reservoir nano.
