Got my PV 3 days ago have not had a anolog since then. I have quit before 3 or 4 time cold turkey with no problem. But started up because I just felt like it and started driving a lot and was bored. I started my PV with 18mgs and after the 1st day of vaping on and off all day i could feel the steady nic all day. I didn't really want to feel it steady all day long so i ordered all my carts and juice the next day at 12mgs witch i have not received yet. Now I am feeling like i am missing something and i dont want an anolog but i am thinking that the 18mg nic is doing nothing for me and i don't feel anything and i have 12mgs coming 8(. Anyone have any ideas about this? I was thinking i might need to get some 24mg just for those time a want a jolt, anyone else do that and does that work. I like the short time affects of the nic just didn't like it steady all day. I want to feel it when i want and not when i don't.
Please let me know if i am making any sense at all to anyone and pass your thoughts along.

Think your right when i was on anolg's i only smoked ultra lights because i don't like the smoke or the TH, smoked more as a habit but when i wanted the nic or was stressed i just smoked more faster. So i might just have to do the 24mg for these times like you said. So it looks like ill use the 12mgs for when its just a habit and need something to do and the 24mg when i need a jolt. Like now i want a jolt but dont feel like smoke all day lol. Just need 12mgs i think when i am driving so i am not bored.

Having 24mg around for when you need a jolt is probably the best advice. As the OP mentions, vaping lower NIC levels can provide a steady nicotine intake, but it does not give the immediate satisfaction that a cigarette does. I think this has a lot to do with the psycological link between inhaling burning tobacco and feeling the nic flowing. 24mg will come a lot closer. After a month or so of vaping, that trigger mechanism seems to go away.

This thread makes me go -Ouch. I just ordered my first kit and juice at 18mg. I smoke roll your own tobacco in a pipe and roll my own. I'm wondering now if I should have ordered the 24mg.

That immediate satisfaction feeling you speak of - I only get that in the morning right away or during the day if I puff fast and furious trying to achieve it. Most of the day after that initial morning buzz wears off I feel pretty steady and do not crave a stronger jolt. I suppose I am just keeping my nicotine levels topped off. Even though it's roll your own and I smoke it in a pipe I have no idea how much nicotine I'm getting.

I will find out soon. My products are supposed to arrive Monday. If I wake up and vape Tuesday morning and get the rush I need, I should be able to manage through the day like I do with the TOP tobacco. If I find myself needing to puff fast and furious trying to get it, then I will know I need stronger than 18mg.

er.. I read that someone said dripping directly into the atty can seem stronger - might this help?

You're not going to get that immediate nicotine hit that you do with cigs regardless of what nic level you vape. But after vaping for a few minutes or so, you won't crave a cigarette if that makes sense.

I don't happen to be an all day vapor I don't think. While I vape higher nic levels I don't use as much juice as some people seem to, so that's what that leads me to believe that. I vape around 1.5 ml. give or take. When I crave a cig, I just vape until I don't and just put it down.

Unless I'm vaping something super tasty, then I can't put it down. VB peach does that to me.

I use 24mg exclusively -- unless I get a sample or something to try. The biggest issue I had at first was the initial morning start or that stressful moment when I needed that kick. At these times I would take longer hits and in faster repetition (if that makes any sense?) I'd heat up my atty and almost "Hot Box" the cart so to speak. Seemed to work for that first month or two- now I don't get that craving so it's steady when I feel like vaping, still haven't reduced the level only because I'm not concerned about it.

If you haven't already, you may want to order some low resistance cartomizers and try the lower nicotine juice in them. I was vaping 24mg at one time, but after switching to LR cartomizers found it was way too much. Now I only use 6mg with the lr's and am perfectly happy. It might be a cheap way to salvage the juice you already ordered.

I had some problems when I started, found that going down on the nic level and vaping more helped as I was a 3 PAD ultra light smoker. Now I keep 3 different flavors of 6-8 mg cartos on 3 different batteries and just switch if the one I'm using gets to warm. Doing the same thing I did with analogs, chain vaping.

I have some 24mg cartridges which I use when I really need a cigarette and don't use them any other time. Makes them last a lot longer. The rest of the time I use 11mg cartridges which are working pretty well for me at the moment. This said, my next batch are going to be 18mg because I want more of a nic hit...but that's just me

I like to mix different levels of juice depending on the situation. For instance, I ordered SnickerZ in 6mg, 12mg, and 18mg. Most of the time I just use the 6mg. But for after dinner or with a drink, I refill my carto's with half-n-half 12 and 6. 12 is too much, but 6 not enough. But I'm kinda OCD, so :p. BTW the 18 is for my husband. I mix 12 and 18 for him.
