A good mod will save you a lot of money compared to smoking or to doing the gas station/quicky mart little e-cig glowing LED route: if you do the homework.
I thankfully bypassed the disposable/cig look-a-like route. So far I've gotten an ego kit, a couple extra batteries, a couple different kinds of cartos, various drip tips, and juice samplers from 4 vendors. I'm stocked up for at least 3 months on cartos now, and probably a good six weeks at least on juice, provided there are none that are completely unvapable. I also purposely went a little overboard because I'm getting my mom set up as well, her kit comes today! 
I really, really want a GLV2 5v....it's gonna be hard to convince my hubby that it will in fact be cheaper in the long run, he tends to have sticker shock if anything costs more than 10 bux hehe.

Tell hubby either he can build you a mod, or buy you one
. Let him check out the Modder's forum. If he goes for it, either way you win - he builds you something, something to play with while saving for the GLV2 or he buys you the GLV2 Just a suggestion
ROFL Good idea TomCatt, except that I wouldn't want to push any buttons on anything my hubby made for fear it would blow up...I'm the mechanical one in the relationship!
LOL! You could throw a Puck mod together for ~$10, uses regular NiMH rechargeable batteries and gives you ~4.8V vaping. Tell hubby you need the batteries for the remote .

I'm in the same place, IThrenodyI. I'm forcing myself to be happy with the goodies I have now because I need to chill out before I spend anymore money. One of my biggest reasons for making this change was because I was getting to the point where I could barely afford my cigarette habit. I don't need a more expensive habit! lol
Ive gone way overboard this last month. On black friday I finnaly got to be the one to say "but i HAD to get it. It was on sale!"
