Opinions on what to do from here

I am currently vaping a nautilus mini off of a evod vv. However, I don't like the looks, or the power output. I know what RDA's I'm going to start with in the future. My only issue is, I don't know what mod to get. I was considering getting a MPV 2.0, but I know it only goes up to 11w. Do you think that would be enough, or should I invest in something like a cana mod or something? I really like the box mod look, but I am not made of money. I was also thinking about a used vaporshark dna 30. Thoughts?

Mvp is too low for rdas. Consider a hana clone or ipv2 maybe.

You could try a Cana Mod v3. I just got mine a couple weeks ago from Mt. Baker Vapor. It works great. The reason I got it from Mt. Baker Vapor is because they have a 6 month warranty with it. I stepped up to the Cana v3 after having an MVP 2 btw. Just make sure you always install your battery the right way as it doesn't have reverse battery protection. But really once you install it you can charge off the USB.

I think I'll just hold off a month and get the hana clone then, I've heard good things about it. I think it's worth the investment as I really want that flavor that RDAs supposedly give. Thanks!

If you get it from Mt Baker Vapor use the coupon code vaporfrombaker or beefcake11 and you can save a few bucks. I think I paid like $67 or $68 and it had free shipping too plus a 6 month warranty is not a bad deal imo. Also remember you can't build below .5 ohms on that device.

I bought a Hana clone from Focalecig for $43. That is the price for black, like $48 for colors. Free shipping from China & it arrived in 12 days. It's not perfect, my Clouper has a few advantages, but just a few. The a Focal one is lighter & easier to carry around.

Yeah, I love MBV. I may email them and see if I can get it in green, though. And I'm not the sub-ohming type I feel, anyways. Why do that when you can just vape at a higher voltage and get the same effect, safer.

Ok so the Cana (hana clone) DNA 30W is the way to go. It should supply a user in your usage a long life. It is safe and regulated and you will always be using the mod at its mid level range.

I suggest if your are going to get into an RDA, get into something cheap and learn the system. For a tank rebuildable a Kayfun will do you perfectly. Very forgiving and easy to build on.

Get a couple nice batteries and I'd put you at spending:

Mod- $65.00

Kayfun- $40.00

Batteries- $15.00

Charge- $10.00

Misc Gear- $25.00 (kanthal, cotton, pliers, jig)

Total- $135- 150

Give or take a little - Don't kill me over the price.

Some RDAs can be used at lower wattage at around the higher limit of a normal regulated mod (15W), it's possible but it's not optimal.
Besides all the box mods mentioned, have you considered a mech?

I would imagine that if you wait a couple of weeks the IPV2 will drop in price as retailers get the IPV3 in stock. If you don't need that much power the 20w Eleaf istick might fit the bill?

i was also gonna suggest the eleaf istick. Its less than $50 but hard to find in stock anywhere at the moment. One other suggestion. I would give the silo tank by beyond vape a try. Use it with the Nautilus BVC coils. Best vapor production Ive ever seen from a tank. Almost as much as an RDA.

I wanted to do a mech after using a box mod. I am considering sigelei or IPV, but they are quite expensive for the time being. I will do research first, though

11watts is good power for most people but you can go higher if you wont too

Update: I bought the Sigelei 100W. I hope that power will do well! I hope my new Mutation X RDA will work great on it.
