Opus BT-C3100 Owners - is my display defective?

Just received my Opus BT-C3100 v2.2 charger today. I haven't had it for very long but from what I can tell the charger seems to be working properly. It's charging.:D

But I might have a defect in my display (well actually 2 defects).

One dark spot on the left and one on the right (not as dark as the left).

I'm wondering if this normal for this charger and merely caused by the position of backlights.

Or is this a possible defect that might get worse?

    IMO, it’s normal.
    I think the brighter spots are from four side-firing LEDs that are used to light up the LCD screen. In between the LEDs it gets dimmer.
