Hey everyone new member but not new to vaping at all lol but I am new to this Orchid v2 vox edition I picked up recently. I have plenty of experience with rda 's, drippers, but this is my first rebuildable tank atty and I'm not quite sure how to go about building it. Mainly recommended wire gauge and how to wick and any experience anyone has had with different types of wicking material I have silica rope, Japanese cotton, and organic cotton for wicked material and not sure what to use any advice would be much appreciated thanks.

Hi and welcome to ECF!
action-smiley-065.gif

Here are a few links to the Orchid RTA, lot's of reading that will help you figure it out. Proper wicking is the key to not becoming frustrated with your Orchid. I own one and love the airy draw. However, they CAN be a challenge unless you are committed to practicing on the #$%&*(&^* thing.

You picked a tough one to start on. There is a lot of info here, so take your time and enjoy!

Wow I wasn't expecting that much info to be replied on one of my first posts but thank you very much I'll look over all of it and I actually got it built today but am having issues with getting dry hits all the time no matter how long I try and let the wicks absorb my juice and I wicked it with a very small amount of organic cotton any tips or can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong lol ? Also I attempted to fill it from the bottom fill screw and with an eyedropper seems useless lol it just won't force it in there. Anyone know where I can get some syringes at with needles ?

either to much fiber down the channels, or density through the coil not correct, or combination of both. Generally it's flooding issues, but tank used has a lot to do with the wick to tank density. Feel the Orchid should of been in a 23 mm tank, minimum, am currently working on making it a 30 mm tank contender, or something like that.:D

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

Will do boomer, have the Confun tank, everything is hooking up nice, just have to redo me densities in the wick channels. Would of done it, but needed to change the oil in the CR-Z. Just finished that up, so time to re-wick the Estia, and mess with confun orchid:D, or something like that.

Wizard Labs is my one stop DIY juice supply shop. Great vendor, fast and excellent prices.
