I just placed order Order #44775 which qualified for free shipping. I added a note to use China Registered Airmail (not EMS), but I just want to make sure this is followed?

Thanks!

thank you for your new order. we will send it out via china registered airmail freely. :)

normally we can send orders with free shipping to your country via ems. may i know why you do not choose EMS? as we know. EMS is much faster. we have sent many orders there via ems with no problem so far.

Thank you Newshunshine! EMS is extremely corrupt and very poorly handled locally. The bottom line is regular mail is fully public and EMS is a private-public service. Here, like it seems everywhere else in the world today, public-private means corruption (whether a bribe is legal or not, it is still corruption). EMS has been in corruption collusion with the customs bureau since before my Grandfather's time. In real world terms, this is the difference:

When I recieve normal inertnational mail (such as China registered post), I get a card in mail when it arrives and I can send an employee to pick it up for me. I am only charged P40 customs fee. The package is handled by my postman who is a nice gentleman. My post office is very close to me and the whole pickup takes my employee less than 30 minutes unless there is a long line, of course.

When I receive an EMS package, I get a card in the mail telling me to go to the main post office near the airport to pick it up. This is a good 1 hour drive, with normal traffic, roundtrip. It is not always normal traffic so can be up to 2 hours. At the main post office, my employees have to wait in a dirty crowded area for, usually, a full day. They wait there till they hear my name called, so they can't go anywhere else and they have to listen carefully. If they miss my name, its over, they have to come back another day. Once they hear my name, a customs official is waiting at my package.

Customs officials are among the most corrupt class of government worker here. One time, a customs official demanded my employee tell them how much money their employer (me) gave them. My employe was, of course, scared and told her and then the customs official set the duty for that total. The 2 times I have went there myself to pickup a package, I have had custom duty there levied at the same price I have paid for the items inside and just left the package at customs in disgust and the 2nd time only had a proper customs duty set (the mandatory P40 customs fee) with my lawyer on the phone threatening the official.

After the first couple of times, we have only had to deal with the EMS system because a vendor made a mistake and shipped something to me EMS instead of standard mail. Please, make sure you do not make that mistake? :)

Thanks!
