I'm still on the fence about a Provari. I probably would have been ahead of the game if I bought one from the get go, but had to satisfy my cravings with "cheaper" alternatives. I will finally make a decision on my 1 year anniversary, but the way things are going, I'm not sure it will be a Provari.

I have nothing against the quality - I have never actually held one in my hands - since it's reputation preceeds itself, but I think I am leaning towards a ???? I have a kicked SB, which is absolutely delightfull, but a Darwin is ugly in IMHO. Since I starting vaping, things have been moving pretty fast, and getting faster all the time. Perhaps in 3 months, there will be another game changing device out there that will strike my fancy :)

Anyways, good on you for getting what you want. If it keeps you off the stinkies, and does it in style, WONDERFULL!

Farmer Bric and Rolland - I was set to get a Lavatube or VMAX but kept getting mixed messages about them, so I figured I'd go the extra bit (which was not as much because I managed to luck into the "blemished" sale) and get a Provari since it seems to satisfy just about everyone that has one. Either that or they embed some sort of chemical in the casing that creates cult like adoration for the damned thing - I may wear gloves when I handle it so I don't become insufferable. :) The investment is also massive incentive to STOP buying more equipment. :)

Slohand has one, so he may bring his to the Kingston Vapemeet. If there's another meet in Perth, I'll bring it and the VV Gripper so you guys can give them a test run and see if they hold any interest for you. Farmer Bric - I'd love to check out the 50 Cal you got from JRCT and the Kick fascinates me .. but I'm not buying anything else. I'm not buying anything else. I'm not buying anything else ... say it with me, boys, I'm not buying anything else.

Unless you put a condom over the drip tip gloves won't help you much.:vapor::vapor:

I've been saving my pennies for a ProVari Mini and z-atty-pro, but after watching lots of reviews variable wattage might be the way to go. I'm so confused now.

start with the Provari. Get used to adjusting the voltage and finding your sweet spot. The Z Atty P can come later - in any case Zen is so backed up you'll have lots of time to get used to the ProVari and to save your pennies.
