Hey folks,

i ordered a black w/silver vein VV Grand from Reo's website. I'm excited to say the least. This will be my 1st variable voltage mod, 1st Reo as well.

I try to buy USA made products as often as possible. Being somewhat new to portable vapes, I was shocked by the current state of the ecig industry, and product offerings, when initially becoming interested in this stuff a few months ago. It is too easy for the average joe to go to the wrong direction w/ecigs & trying to quit smoking. I know I have.

My hope is that the vv grand can get me off the merry go 'round. All I want to do is keep off cigarette's, not dive into a new & costly hobby. These days it makes me happy that USA made niche products exist & flourish, even leading in design.

Reading through all the vv grand posts here will be fun in the coming weeks, but are there any 'easy truths' or 'everybody uses X' with the vv? I ordered the rba & plenty of aw imr's.

Thanks in advance for your patience w/a newbie. The Reo is a far cry from my ego-c & vivi nova. Hopefully it doesn't taste like a wet burned mop. Ultimately I'm after taste & vaping satisfaction.

Matt

Welcome, Whodoo! Sounds like you're set (RBA and batteries) for a GREAT vape. These are wonderful mods that will make vaping almost as easy as carrying cigarettes and a Bic. Keep reading around the forum and you'll probably think of some questions. One thing....they are mailed with signature required, so be home when it comes. Otherwise you'll have to make a trip to the Post Office. :)

I don't have a VV grand (just the unregulated one...well, 2) but I doubt seriously you'll ever regret it. It really does make vaping almost as convenient as tobacco cigarettes.

I wish I had found the REO before I wasted all the money and time on "other" ecigs, but in the end, it's where you wind up that matters. I haven't had the slightest inclination to buy something else in the @ 1.5 years since I got my first REO.

That said, I sure do like the idea of the VV, but have too much invested in my 2 grands and batteries. Someday, though, maybe :)

Welcome to REOville :)

DH loves his Mini ViVi Nova and VV eGo batteries. But every weekend (the only time he's home and/or in town, and in his recliner awake and not passed out from exhaustion) he's always asking me to taste his PV for suggestions on improving, then ask to taste what ever REO I'm using at the time, and wants the same with his Mini Vivi Nova. Having him put a new atty on and washing the tank usually fixes him up for a few more days. So Sat night I handed him my newest VVG, Black Wrinkle. If I hadn't had the voltage up too high for his likes I might not have gotten it away from him. Being Mr. Clumsy and frequently dropping PVs I'm certainly not going to loan him anything but my Silver VVG. Time to get it off to REO spa for new button. And I'm not letting him leave house with any of my loaner VVGs. He has to keep it by his recliner. (It will still get knocked or dropped to hard floor and he'll carry it into bathroom where all our REOs like to take dives onto the hard ceramic floor.) (He can take it to spa as he doesn't let REOs go swimming like I do but if a VVG does take a swim I have enough experience with "swimming" VVGs to know they will be just fine.)

Thanks for the warm welcome & encouragement. The Reo will hopefully be what I've wanted from the start but didn't know existed.

I find it funny when ecig users talk of how inexpensive this all is. The savings don't occur until after you have found what works. I have a wonderful stash of juices, those weren't hard to find. Realizing that I needed to research the hardware more was half the battle...

The vv can't get here fast enough! I'm down to my last few ato & cartomizers + using 100% vg juice mixes.

I'm into quirky, technical hobbies but when I initially read about an RBA there was no way I wanted to jump down that rabbit hole. Now I can't wait to jump in. And it can't happen soon enough. :D

Congratz on your REO purchase! A REO Grand was my 2nd instrument to stop smoking. I was so glad I made the right decision and jumped for one on the classy's.

After trying a few different models of REO's I won't look at anything else!!!

Welcome Whodoo and JudeD

Good to meet those with similar tastes and intelligence ;) Don't be afraid to ask questions before or after delivery, as most can be answered on the forum. I know that both of you will be stoked at the performance of your new Reos and eventually maybe want a backup Reo as well. It just as well be cause you may nut want your previous devices any longer. Stop by the lounge and say hi when you got time. Little slow now because Kay (oldbroad) must be on timeout :) Let us know how it goes.
