First, I just wanted to say thank you, thank you for helping answer my questions yesterday. This is all a bit overwhelming!!!!

Here is what I ordered, should I order anything else right off the bat or will this do for a bit?

"Included in this kit is 2 650mah batteries, 2 atomizers, 1 atomizer cover, 5 prefilled carts (Asst Tobacco), 1 eGo fast USB charger, 1 AC to USB adapter, 1 pouch, 1 instruction sheet. Instead of a 3ml sample bottle, the eGo kit comes with a full bottle of e-liquid. Please choose flavor and strength. All eGo batteries now have 5 click protection. Press the button 5 times quickly to turn on or off "

I would hate to not be prepared, or realize I needed something else after the fact!!!

Thanks :)

Did they say how many ML in a "full bottle"? If you were a PAD smoker, and you switch entirely to vaping, you'll probably find you go through 3-5ML a day, so you will be needing more juice before long. But otherwise you should be good for a bit. Do a search on dripping to learn how to use it that way.

You got everything you need. one of the first things i baught that was "optional" was a rubber drip tip. i found that it keeps the tip cooler than plastic or metal tips and i tend to chew on a tip as i draw on it so rubber was perfect for me. a Drip tip is good for direct dripping on an atomizer or just as a mouth piece for a cartomizer.

You will definately need some juice You will go though that bottle pretty quickly. Also look into getting your self a drip tip and look into getting some cartomizers I use the duel coil ones. I like them a lot better than the atomizer cartridge setup There are a lot of videos on u-tube telling you about cartomizers and how to use them

I think this is the same system that we just started on (Ego 900). I feel like I use it too much at times, but even so I've been able to make the liquid drops last a pretty long time. I've been smoking a menthol juice and sometimes mix it with a coffee flavor juice to change it up. So far... so good. I responded to another thread asking if anyone had any advice on this product or additional info, but since there seems to be a good many people here who are familiar as well. So... any advice?

Get enough bottles to have 30ml of liquid to start. 5ml is only 1-3 days worth for most people.

And buy some cartomizers because most people prefer cartomizers for their main juices. Boge are most popular. They work well with thin juices. I use PG juices with 20% or less VG - having some VG is nice - it adds vapor - but VG is thick so the more you have, the thicker the juice. I also avoid juices that drop a lot of flavoring sediment. The 3 ohm Boges are warm, the 2 ohm ones are hotter. I have gotten 5-packs at Liberty-flights.com, LiteCigUSA.net, Goodprophets.com, NiteLiteVapor.us and if you like them, Crystal Clear Vaping has a good price for 15.

I also recommend a drip tip - if you got a wide tube Ego (type B?) I think those use an Ego drip tip and the narrow tube (type A?) should fit a 510 drip tip. Use the drip tip on the atomizer to try new juices and samples.

Agree with the juice recommendation. You can never have enough. Also, think about getting backups. Think triple redundancy...or backups for your backups. Even your chargers need backups. Unless you have a sticks & bricks store near you, you'll have to have supplies shipped to you...which takes time. You need to be able to make it until supplies get to you without having to relapse (even temporarily) to analogs.

Speaking of juice, I want to get some ordered today! I just read the sticky post about finding a juice that is close to an actual analog. Am I understanding this correctly that you can just find a juice that has nicotine in it, but you can mix the nicotine with another flavor? I am thinking I will use the "step down" approach with my nicotine until I can get completely off it.

I'm using juice with nicotine in it. I believe it comes in 24 mg, 18 mg, 16 mg and so on until you can finally come off of nicotine completely. Right now I'm using the 16 mg and I switch it up between menthol flavoring and a coffee flavoring... sometimes I mix them for a minty-coffee taste (these juices are already mixed with flavoring). I probably vape (I'm new to this so I guess that's the right term for it) more than I would normally smoke, but I'm starting to notice that a regular cigarette (is that what everyone is calling "analogs"?) doesn't taste as good and I'm not craving them as much as I would prefer to just vape for a minute or two.

I am SO hoping this is the same experience I will have! I am so sick of smelling like a gross ashtray!!!!

One thing that I am finding that isn't helping me is that since mine is odorless I am vaping in my house (or office). I never smoked inside, but now that I can without the issue of the smell, etc. I am finding that I'm doing it a lot more because it is very convenient to just grab. Still... it has to be better for me than walking outside 20 times a day to go smoke. At least I feel better.

I bought some new flavors this weekend and also moved onto using a drip-tip. The new tip is much, much better. I can also happily - and officially - say... I made a pack of cigarettes last one full week instead of one full day and I plan on cutting down more this week.

I will also say this... after subtracting the amount we paid for the actual device (start up costs) we still managed to save $10 on what we would have normally spent on cigarettes. If everything goes correctly this week... we should be able to save about $55 this week and not have to go back to "restock" for 2 weeks. Crossing my fingers.
