I second having back-ups for your back-ups. Especially atomizers. You really never know when things will start to die on ya. Sometimes several things, all at once. It pays to stock up when you can.

I definitely want to look into getting cartomizers. I seem to be going through the carts way to quickly, even with topping them off with fluid when they start to get dry!
I know how you feel. I have been vaping for 2 months and just ordered an Ego. I have been researching for a month and comparing prices at hundreds of different sites. All I did was confuse myself even more! I ended up getting a great deal on my Ego and I ordered it from China. Can't wait til it arrives. They were offering a starter kit at my local smoke shop for $99.99...got mine on line for $45.99. I didn't order any e-liquid from this sight because I was afraid customs would keep it. I will probably start ordering liquid from a USA site or continue at the local smoke shop. Good luck...I hope we both enjoy our Ego's as much as everyone says we will!!!
I started with the same, you'll be good right out of the gate. After you've used it for a week you'll start to be able to pick out what you do and do not like about it. You can order mod pieces as needed to fix the small issues i.e. I hate the plastic cartridges and how quickly they start to get loose so I went to a metal drip tip.

really love ECF... I have a DSE 801 penstyle, I don't care for it at all, I'm constantly charging it and filling
it, not good when your driving and trying to fill....I need some in put on the Leo Royal, by Boge? I know it
has the same filter as the 801, but I really like the 800 mAh batt it has, it's 59 bucks and I would like to find
out if it's worth putting that much out for it ?

I haven't seen any threads on that but maybe someone will pipe in on it. The joye ego and riva clone from liberty flights gets a lot of recommendations because they are known good products from a reputable dealer at great prices. Be sure and check the discount code in the upper left if you decide to go that route. I have the joye ego and I'm really happy with it, but there's a lot of happy riva customers here also, and it is a little cheaper.
I so wish I could be one of the lucky ones who had an actual store near them that sold juice. There are so many supplies to choose from, and I hate waiting!!! LOL
You live in a good spot though. There are tons of great suppliers in the NY, NJ Penna area.
Now it's just trying to figure out what I want! There are SOOO many choices! I have to get these cartomizers first. These prefilled ones that came with my kit are HORRIBLE!

Get a box of boge 2.0 until you know wha juice you like. They're fairly cheap. After you do that, get a bigger carto. But I wouldn't do that until you know what juice you'll be vaping because they hold a lot of juice.

I've had my Ego about a week and LOVE it. Today is day 8 since my last smoke. I'm lucky enough to have a brick and mortar store in town so I can taste test juices before buying. So far, my favorite is Black DJ Rum Clove. Yummm! Just reading the forums, I'm learning about a lot of places that let you buy samples fairly inexpensively so I'm looking forward to trying some of those on pay day. I'm so excited because I would have never thought I could give up cigarettes so effortlessly. I think I like vaping more than I liked smoking and I REALLY loved to smoke!
Ordering now. Good Prophets is about 10 minutes down the street from me....shame I have to pay for shipping!!! LOL I guess I should look into different liquid, since the stuff I ordered from Alien that's on its way is 100% VG (isn't that too thick for cartomizers?)

Lots of people here get juice from there and don't seem to have a problem. Try it and see how it works out for you. You can always add a couple drops of distilled water. I don't, but some people add a couple drops of vodka or PGA. I've been dying to try the Hype juice from them.
Good Prophets used to have a store I think but I've heard they closed it.
