I won't quote them here, but your Reasons #1 - #5 were certainly mine... and pretty much in that order. That's saying a lot for this community, since all day, one-handed dripping meant everything to me!

+1 (see, i'm not even quoting NicoHog :)

Welcome, Vapeaddikt!

Not starting a new thread for this but I just forked over the money too!
This better be as good as you guys are saying, LOL

I ordered the Black Wrinkle/Silver Vein, and yes a Reomizer to go with.

Oh, and Hello!

well then, you'd darn well better know how to build and vape it! :p

I have been negotiating the mine field of vaping about 3 months now.
I have gotten my share of duds. Living in a backwards east Texas town, I don't see anyone with even an ego out here.
Obviously I turn heads with my SVD, it doesn't leave the house much.
If it weren't for the extensive following I would think this was so much hype too, but I can't argue with the army, lol.
I need this thing to be durable, to be in my pocket as I climb around on bulldozers in the field and wallow in the floor of my install bay.
I may have to take some pictures of it in interesting places. This poor thing is going to have a hard life.

Well it's stealthy yet durable. Stealthy, not in the way that people won't notice, but in the way that you're not carrying a barbershop pole around in your breast pocket, built with shiny stainless steel, glass tank etc. Scratches and dings will just increase the charm of the Reo. :D

Congrats and welcome carldamnit. Good decision bro. I'm quite certain the REO will put up with the abuse you intend to put it thru and you can feel comfort in knowing that if it doesn't, nothing else would have either. It would be hard to imagine how you could actually render a REO unserviceable short of smashing it with a sledgehammer, jumping up and down on it repeatedly with concrete shoes, throwing it at something with all your effort (may ding it but i bet it still works) or shorting it with a bum atty / RBA build. The issues with what you mention won't affect the REO, but the drip tip. Perhaps you will dislodge it, get dirt in it, you know...

I like to keep my mods clean and lint free, so when I pocket my REO for any length of time, I place it in a very compact, semi-hard sunglasses holder. This ensures that it will be clean and not stressing the drip tip/RBA interface if I contort myself into any crazy positions. The REO and RM2 itself will always be fine, it's the drip tip that I watch out for :)

I can personally attest to unspeakable pocket abuse of my silvervein reo. Im an aircraft electrical/environmental maintainer for the air force currently working in the middle east. It gets up to 120 outside- inside my work environment (a large aircraft baking in the sun all day) the compartments i work in get up to 140-150 degrees. So hot that we have people talking to us constantly to make sure we dont pass out or lose our train of thought in heat exhaustion and lose coherency. This little reo grand vapes even in this environment. Its also seen horrible pocket abuse as its in my pocket (fully assembled inside a small flashlight case) while ive frequently had to literally worm my body through confined places. Unintentionally the reo has gotten caught against a rib of the planes inner fuselage while ive had to repair items in these areas. My workhorse silvervein still looks, operates, and functions as it did out of the box. Back in my old days of sticks and tubes i would have to disassemble my atty and still carry bottles of juice in fear of snapping my 510 or driptip connection. Not with the reo. Just stuff that badboy in my small flashlight holster and its either in my hand making clouds, or in my pocket being banged and smooshed.

With all of the hype surrounding this mod and the community I figured what the heck and pulled the trigger on a grand with a reomizer 2.0 a few extra screws and an extra o-ring. I'm always about supporting smaller LLC's.

We shall see how me likes once received. I normally don't allow most hype to influence me but the force is strong w/ this one.:toast:

Love your avvie! And welcome to the mad mad world of Reoville! Personally, i fought the pull of the Reo for a long time...to my own detriment....I currently have four of them....and i fought what i thought was an excessive price for just an old metal box, and THEN I had to buy all the other stuff that you need to operate it?!

And then i started a thread that i called " The Complaint Dept."... got a couple of phone calls from Reonauts within minutes...no, not to
chastise or cuss me out...but to try their best to help me understand how to use it....I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack and I unconsciously fought using it correctly cuz all I could think of was the money I'd spent and i'd better ship it back for a refund...I coulda bought about 6-7 eGo's for that same amount...

I'm now a diehard Reonaut fangirl...err...oldbroad...

Awesome stuff, at one time in my life I called the USS Crommelin (FFG-37) my home, and I do know what tight spaces are. Places where you exhale and squeeze hard to get into, and hope to god you can repeat the process to get out.

What do you normally use on the end of your REO for work? Trying to find something tried and true.

And to anyone Googling the Crom, I hate to say it, but she is razor blades now. Rest her soul to the eternal sea.
