Awesome stuff, at one time in my life I called the USS Crommelin (FFG-37) my home, and I do know what tight spaces are. Places where you exhale and squeeze hard to get into, and hope to god you can repeat the process to get out.

What do you normally use on the end of your REO for work? Trying to find something tried and true.

And to anyone Googling the Crom, I hate to say it, but she is razor blades now. Rest her soul to the eternal sea.

I use the reomizer2 and have microcoils wrapped usually between .7 and 1.2 ohms with cottonball wicks. Its not as big as it looks in pictures and it operates like a flavor dream fog machine. Worth every penny.

Welcome vapeaddikt

I don't think you will be disappointed with the Reo.

I collapsed a spring when one of my coil legs snapped and shorted on the RM2 body. I only had one spare spring so ordered some more but was nervous for a week while waiting for them to arrive.

I shorted my spring as well today. It wasn't my fault i believe. :) What happened is, i gave my reo to someone to try. They sat there holding the button down (they said they were holding it extremely hard :/ ) for over ten seconds. My coil was .6 (well within the safe zone for my battery). I was friendly and stated its not your fault and i can fix it in 2 min. To be fair i told them that it was very strong hitting and not to inhale hard. They thought that hitting the fire button for 10 seconds and then taking a puff was what i said, lol. My 4 dollar lesson was not to let them taste again.
I recoiled a wick that measured .8 ohms and imstalled one of my back-up springs. All is well. And took me less than 5 min.

You guys rock and really yeah waiting on it just flat out sucks. I want my toy now dammit! lol I'm so ready to fire her up once she get's here I pretty much already figured out that if it's not vaping well like on other mech's I just messed something up and will get it sorted but no doubts it's gonna be a beast.

BTW W/ a RM2 does it leak out of the well if excess juice is in there or is it all nicely kept in the RM2? I'm assuming its kept in the RM2 then drains back down the tube if not used.

It will just flow back down man .I have squeezed the hell out of it to see how much it can take and as long as wick isnt huge and doesnt block hole you are good to go :)

that's strange. what battery was it? (if I may be so bold) :p

ADDIT: was it a tight micro coil?

It was a cgr18650ch panasonic (i know you guys favor the aw's). The coil was very tight nichrome 26 ga.

Made a safe coil today. Perfectly 1ohm micro with 28kanthal. Didnt have the time to struggle and measure/ohm fiddle with my less compliant top shelf stuff. Its warm, a little on the slow side but very full and rich flavor. Using it on my workhorse reo with the brand new spring. Also, i measured my batts health and monitored it closely today. ( the cgr18650ch ) that was involved in the heatup last evening. It still runs like new. Repeadedly taxed the battery, measured volts and rest and volts under load, and checked for heat issues as well. Its fine.
I am confident in believing that the user i lent it to unknowingly hitting the fire button for more than 10, maybe 15 seconds was the verdict on the spring. .6 is a taxing load on the battery if you constantly let it drain rather than pulse firing it. Nevertheless, im playing up towards the one ohm side for a week or so.

There are very few things in the vaping gear world that live up to the hype. The Reo is one of them. With only a minimal amount of tweaking and learning how to coil/wick, a process that with the aid of SXD's tutorial video should only take about 20 minutes, you will be enjoying voluminous and delicious clouds.

Welcome to Reoville. Should you need any help, everybody here is mad helpful. If you happen to find something that you can't figure out, or even if you have a question that you might think is dumb (I have dropped several here myself) you are sure to get a gracious and accurate solution with the quickness.

Enjoy!

My oldest Mini 2.0 leaks a little with RM2. I've been screwing RM2 down a little more lately and probably could go tighter but want to avoid damaging the fitting gasket. It's the only REO out of several that does this. It's the only one that really needs the o-ring in well. I'm using a skinny o-ring. I need to go up in size a little to see if that helps.

It's not heat related as it is used in AC and > 100F but is no worse when left sitting in hot car that can easily get above 150F.

I most usely vape 50/50 PG/VG that is not a very thick juice.

{edit} I'm wondering if the one leaking issue might be a particular combination of that Mini 2.0 and on particular RM2. Seems I really noticed the leaking when I started using my (currently) only milled down Chrome instead of one of the several brass milled down. I need to check that out.
