I have a suggestion that may be a good compromise. Clark, how difficult would it be if we purchased a NT gift certificate for someone and had you guys notify them of the gift certificate? They could then choose the item and fill in their shipping info.

im not tryin to be an idiot to anyone.....I think clark has tons to do and really doesn't want to do MORE.he is a pushover I know,but I think if we can handle this w/o katy/clark and team having to do anything but fill the bags with our goods that would make way less for them to do.it would still tickle me to get a pm saying "hey I need your address your gonna get a surprise of some sorta juice"or something along those lines.id still be happy to get the juice...see what i mean.lets make it as easy for NT as we can....Rick

Just brainstorming here, ok, maybe it's more of a brainfart.... BUT, how about adding a gift option on the site? Those would go into a separate, non-priority queue, that would be dealt with as the appropriate people have time?

It would have to be used as a separate order, therefor it would automatically solve the problem of you eating the cost for two separate S&H charges....

Gift certificates are totally avail (link on top of the site). It it either forwarded directly to the recipient via email, or you can forward yourself!!

Maybe add a "gift a friend" option on the site, where we could buy a bottle for a fellow ECF member, and they would receive a PM from Nicoticket saying something like:

"You have been gifted a 50ml bottle of Wakonda by dwroblewski (or have an anonymous option). To get your bottle, go to nicoticket.com and enter this code: xxxxxxxx."

That way, most of the leg work is done by the recipient, and all your staff would have to do is PM, based on the ECF username supplied by the gifter.

I know some web developers that could help make this happen on your site...

You can send the gift certificate code to yourself, and then forward to the recipient via email, PM, etc...

yes - he probably doesn't want to actually say how irritating that extra work can be. Anytime somebody puts more work on me - I get irritated x.x have enough to do already for sure

I agree. Our heart was in the right place but we were making life harder on the NT team than needed to be.

I believe I will opt for Gift Certificates. That way, they can order what they want which is a win for everyone!
