Where in Canada are you? You'll probably find some fellow vapers in your area that can help with supplies.

In Calgary,

Using a k808 compatible unit ATM ... Not liking it much, but could just be the carts I have that came with it.

Wanto move to a ego I think but don't want to wait a month of Sunday's to get one.

Why no local vendors?

You just missed a social gathering of Calgary vapers this past Wednesday, where there was opportunity to see and buy some cool stuff. There is a vendor there who knows her stuff too, and is very helpful. Check it out: electro-vapors

Also, there are several really good Canadian vendors who ship QUICKLY. I ordered my eGo T from an Ontario vendor on Monday night, and it got to me in today's mail (I'm in Alberta too). Juices and carts I ordered from an Alberta vendor at the same time got to me by Wednesday. No waiting, just great vaping without waiting for a month of Sundays. :p

Hi Remit! OK, we can help.

Electro Vapors (electro-vapors.com) is in Alberta. Local! They have some exclusive premixed juices that you won't find anywhere else...and they also offer some hardware not found elsewhere in Canada. Most importantly, they're very friendly & will take good care of you!

If you want an eGo ($26 - or Mega eGo for just like $4 more)...Jack at Happy Vaper (happyvaper.com) - a man who is absolutely dedicated to making happy vapers out of all of us, his customers service is second to none - he'll have it to you fast! And his eGo batts are all genuine joyetech, no knockoffs.

It's always wise to go with the Expedited Shipping because it costs exactly the same as the Regular, but gets to you faster. And there's Priority, if you need it like OMG-five-minutes-ago kinda thing, lol. I don't know which option he chose (Priority I would think), but Pipeous here on the forum, another recent arrival to vaping...he's in BC, and his order from Happy Vaper arrived in one day flat! All the way from Ontario! Jack won't leave you waiting for weeks.

vapehappy can be used as a coupon code too, for 15% off any Happy Vaper order. Yay again!

Lastly, no matter what battery you're using...carts suck. Seriously. They may be a rite of passage for many newbies, but by no means are they your go-to in the long term. Not unless you feel like modifying them & going through a bunch of hassle. And even then, not so much. Your better alternatives are:

- separate atomizer + drip tip (for dripping, with a manual battery), or
- cartomizers (for filling, with an automatic or manual battery)

If you're going to get an eGo, I would recommend the 510 cartomizers. I've been using them exclusively since I began vaping, and I love 'em. They're not everyone's cup of tea though...some prefer the separate attys & dripping. But yeah. I'd be happy to send you a PM re: cartomizers if you'd like.

P.S. wildrose1970 is right - Evapers rocks too! I shop with them every month in fact...totally recommend them.

Hmmmm

What to do, what to do.....

What??

We just tested the shipping now...entered a Calgary postal code, with an order of an eGo starter kit. Expedited was $11.94. XPressPost was $14.01.

I would go with Expedited myself...that should only take a few days. But yeah, no matter what you choose, Jack definitely won't keep you waiting for weeks.

Hope it all works out!

I am from Winnipeg and have ordered from v4l a few times. Generally, it took 7-10 days. I had one order arrive in 5 days. Also waited 3 weeks for one, found out customs sent it back. V4l sent a replacement it made it through. Switched to a ego-t now, from evapors very pleased with it.
Made a order for liquid from Juicyclear in B.C enjoying that also.
Lot's of good places in Canada now, enjoy.
