Has anyone had either DOA items or items that don't last long? Thinking about placing my first order with them and I have heard that some of them are not great and don't last that long

DOA is no more common at FT than at Sears..and FT does have a great return/refund policy..read their FAQ's at their site... also read the attached reviews about any product there, because some are better than others like at any place you make a purchase.. but DOA is an easy fix at FT if it ever occurred, and is not common...I never had a DOA or defective product sent to me from FT after shopping there a long time...close to 15 months and many orders and products delivered to my door....
Yeah true. I just decided to bite the bullet and place an order. I used paypal instead of my CC just for the extra safty precautions.
Always use Paypal payment with the 45 day claim/dispute protection, and always ship using Epacket or any China Post method, if U can , for fastest delivery to the USA..some things U purchase are prohibited ( eliquids- internal ego batteries etc) to ship using China Post, so then I suggest U use Registered Airmail Singapore Post for shipping....
and external batteries , are currently only shipped via SHIP/BOAT aka Surface mail Hong Kong Post and will take months to reach most anyplace...so I suggest U buy external batteries elsewhere like on ebay or some other online site other than FT..FT always had problems the past year with external 18350's type batteries for the past year almost......
but FT is very good for pricing and warranty , with Paypal protection and normally 10 day-3 week average shipping with any China Post or Singapore Post method..and do not watch the tracking, it is always slow and not current..I suggest only check tracking after your order has been shipped from FT and U have not received it at home within 2 weeks..and I suggest using www.17track.net to track your tracking number assigned by FT to your order..shipping sometimes, especially at holiday times , can be a little slow so don't be alarmed, U will get your orders delivered to your house..
and when ordering I suggest U buy only items that are "in stock" or ready to ship" or "ships in 1 business day" unless u don't mind waiting possibly much longer for your order to arrive at your door..orders that say "ships in 5 business days" is just a guess from FTand may be a 1 month wait before FT even gets the product from the manufacturer..FT does NOT keep stock on hand in a warehouse waiting to ship it out immediately...they always order from the manufactuer who is possible 3 streets away but hasn't even made the product yet..so be smart and use your head and pre plan your purchases and U will be a happy customer..most complaints about FT are from those who did not read these forums or the FT forums and went shopping blindly...this is China shopping which is not like shopping at most USA sites with a full on hand inventory and warehouse and 2-3 day delivery..its easy shooping at China if U keep some of these simple things in mind and plan ahead and have a little patience...the tracking is what drives people crazy and should be ignored as I mentioned for at least 2 weeks AFTER shipping from FT and U received an email that confiems SHIPPED, with a picture of your wrapped envelope package with your name and address on it with the tracking number..

I placed my order lastnight and it said in stock and that it will ship in 2 business days. I got the confirmation this morning that It was shipping today.. that is pretty quick I will update when it comes in. I think it will be by the end of next week or the beginning of the following.
