Ok, so I am posting this here as this forum is making me because I'm a newb. You would think they would let you post in the area of asking the vets so you can get good info. I feel with newbs answering newbs questions is like the blind leading the blind.

Anyway I digress, I've been reading the heathers heavenly vapes thread, I'm up to page 50 (damm those peeps need to stop posting so I can catch up).

Does anyone know of any shops in the Portland, Beaverton area that carry carts, atomizers etc.... I do not know of a single one where you can buy locally.

Also how many posts do I need to spam before I can post in the other threads?

Hi! Welcome to the forum. You need 5 posts to move on to the other threads. If you look around the new members threads, you'll find that most of the answers come from members who've vaped awhile - not newbie to newbie. You can probably find a shop here: Ecig Stores and Vape Shops In The USA Listing | Guide To Vaping

Welcome to ECF. You know your not helping your cause. LOL Welcome to ECF we all did this and there are more than newbies on here.
They do this I think for two reasons. One so you can get a feel for things on this forum. Though this is a forum about some serious stuff. Getting off the stinkies. It is not a glum forum. Second it will weed out the unpleasant folks out there in the lala land of the WWW. I've seen some stuff on other sites that I don't see here. People are respectful and very caring. Folks will bend over backwards to help.
Here is something you may find useful you don't say how long you have been vaping so I will assume pretty new.

There is a ton of stuff on here and you will get to it quick enough.
Welcome to ECF. I can't help with Portland but someone will
OH vets do come on here. I'm a relative newbie but I'm not green either. I make it a point to come on here every day.
Don't hesitate to ask questions. There are no stupid ones. Except the ones you don't ask.
Hope this was of some help. And again welcome.

What you talking about Willis. I can't make heads or tails out of that chart. Color me ignorant.

There is a guy with a kiosk in Lloyd center. The only place in town that I know of.

Wat are you looking for?

Do you know what he is selling there? I'm looking for a place to buy replacment parts, such as tube tank carts, atomizers, stuff like that. It's just easier, and faster to buy locally than have to pay shipping, and wait.

I think he has all that stuff just not a huge selection

As people have mentioned, buying online is best. You will get into a flow where you know how much you need and when to order.

Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated. If he has what I need then great, and I can save on shipping. If not then online it is.

PDX'er here! Found myself in a similar boat when I first started vaping. Oregon is a bit of a no-mans-land but there are a couple of places if you're in a bind. As mentioned there is a kiosk @ the Loyd center (nic station). From what I've seen the hardware is mostly ego clones and stardust type clearos. Fair selection of juice, mostly Dekang flavors. When I visited, prices were approx. 25-50% higher than many of the good online sources.

Also is North West Vapors in veronia. Havent' visited myself but I've heard they're great, have awesome homebrew juices and a decent hardware selection for basics. Hope this helps!

Sorry that was a slip of the button. That chart is called the PIE chart. It has formulas covering Ohms laws and how to get a factor you want using the other values. YOu won't need that. All you have to worry about is watts. Between 4-8 watts. You can calculate that by (volts*volts/ohms) volts Squared divided by ohms.

Well why don't one of you Oregon vapers open a store? There have always been great tobacco shops in Oregon, talk to the local ones about getting into e-cigs.

Honestly I'm not sure the margins would allow it to be successful.

I am a experienced retailer, and have considered it and I'm not sure with all the online stores if a brick and mortar would work as well.

I've heard good things about NW Vapors but haven't ordered from there yet. It's about half hour from me and was thinking about driving out there next week when I have some money to spend. I know there are a couple tobacco shops in Portland that sell e-liquid, but I don't know about other things. I'm fairly new to all this and once I figure out what I need/like I will be buying more online, but there is something about holding something in my hand and having a real person around to ask questions that makes it all less confusing for me.
