I am using SVT Nova dual top coil tanks and I have been rewicking them with organic cotton and I am constantly getting a bad chalky taste on every exhale. Using it on an eVic at 4.0v and 7.6w. At first it was only on one juice, now its with all of them. I think I am maybe using too much cotton. I know it needs to be able to slide freely, and mine really doesn't. Is this what is giving that chalky taste?

Since it is hard to "measure" how much cotton to pull, can someone possibly post a picture of how much?

Lately, I've been using Koh Gen Do cotton pads; but when using cotton balls or rolled cotton, the procedure is the same. Here's what I do:
With your atomizer attached to your mod, assuming you're using an atomizer with a horizontal coil, when you pull the cotton through the coil, if the friction is enough to tip the mod over, it's too much. If you can feel slight friction, but the mod stays standing up, and doesn't wiggle, the amount is about right. At first, it's hard to believe that such a small amount of cotton will work; but it will. Just make sure it's well saturated with juice before the first vape. The cotton will expand inside the coil, but won't choke off.
