I finally got some organic cotton balls today and I have noticed a big difference between them and regular boiled cotton balls. They seem to hold more juice and wick better from not being compressed and fluffed. I get no cotton taste at all from the start. That usually faded after a few drip fills with regular cotton. The universal taste of the juice seems to come through better. Plus there is the "knowing" no residual chemicals are entering my system. I recommend the switch to anyone using the boiling of regular cotton.

I went to Walgreens and passed on the organic cotton, I read the label - it had "hydrogen peroxide" in it.
I went across the street to CVS a bought a small blue box of Sterile cotton balls, with small balls rolled up, you got to give those a try, unroll it and they wick out real easy...- sterile, what could be better?

Hydrogen peroxide is fine. People use it as a mouth wash. It's not exactly organic but it's not a harsh unsafe chemical.
