As I said in a post a while back, I've been working with a number of VG manufacturers to try to get organic VG that is also USP grade. There is organic VG available but it is not pharmaceutical grade and is primarily made for use in organic cosmetics. I have great news! I was able to find a manufacturer who was willing to work with me and we're very close to success! I am waiting for the final paperwork and certifications, but this is about to become a reality! I expect to be switching over the USP organic VG in the next couple of weeks!

Here is a link for the manufacturer that Wholefoods uses. The bottle says that it is USP food grade all natural organic VG which you can use in shampoo, as a moisturizer, as a sweetener for herbal remmedies, and as a sweetener for salad dressing.
Vegetable Glycerin The Heritage Store

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see where it says it's organic or USP...?

I'm really excited about this too! It took a lot of "no's," but finally I got a "yes!" Now, if I can just get someone to start extracting nicotine from organic tobacco (my next project)!

Not meaning to stir the pot, but if you used nicotine extracted from organic (or any other) tobacco, wouldn't this make it truly a tobacco product? I mean, I know the government wants ecigs classified as a tobacco products...wouldn't this be fuel for the fire. Am I totally off base here?

Rootwhacker, the nicotine I use now is extracted from tobacco already. It's highly purified of course, but is from tobacco leaves so I don't think there's any way around this.

I believe it says it in their website. Perhaps I saw it on a WholeFoods site. It does state this on the bottles. I was told that it's located by produce because many people use it for organic home made salad dressing.

I didn't see anything on the website about it being organic and I'd think it would say it on the bottle. It's definitely USP, but not sure if it's also organic. USP and also organic has been impossible for me to find up until now and I've been looking! I have a phone meeting today with the company making this for me to make sure the proper certifications are in place. We're getting close!
