What does everyone use to keep all their stuff in? I have screws in little baggies, tools, cartos, cotton - everything scattered everywhere. Is there something that will hold everything so I can keep up with it all? I saw some plastic organizers that would probably work well for small things but what about my tools like scissors, pliars, etc.

Just thought maybe someone will hopefully be more organized than me and lead me in the right direction.

Thanks!

I use a fishing tackle box. Lots of compartments plus shelves for things like scissors, torches, screw drivers.

For out and about, I have a diabetes kit case in the car. I don't have diabetes - I just got the case from a drug store because it's got lots of pockets and sub-compartments. Very handy and better than any vape case I've seen.

Chest of drawers with 6 drawers in it by my table, because HRH got sick and tired of me leaving stuff all over the place and losing it!

Today that still only keeps 2/3 of my gear tidy and the rest is still on the table, in a fishing tackle box etc. No real place to put a soldering station so that's by the side of my computer!

Separate table in the dining room with all the battery chargers on it and all my liquid mixing gear on it.

I use 3 boxes. 1 box is a 2-tiered box with removeable plastic boxes in each tier. I use that for parts. It's called a Master Pro Cantilevered Organizer, bought at Wal-Mart. The next box is a small Craftsman box for my wick, wire, torch, small tools, like pliers, tweezers, my gizmo. The last box is a Stanley tool box with the lift out tray removed. It was the squarest sided box I could find and that one is for my liquids. I also have a storage bin for all the stuff I don't use anymore, plus boxes for things I have bought, massive overstock in cotton supplies. I think I need a vape room!

I was lucky enough to get a house with a spare bedroom. It is my REO room! Yes, I do have some other stuff in there, but it is where I build coils and make covers. No bed. Just my work table always set up to do what is needed. I love living alone and getting to leave my REO stuff out ready to use!

So... I have some organizer boxes... One of them I even bought just for vape stuff. I'll be darned if I can find it under all this vape stuff. ;)

I'm sort of serious. I bought a 2' long 9 slot double latching see-through top box from harbor freight with every intention of using it to keep vape gear organized. I put cartos and attys and drip tips and ... well, all sorts of stuff in it. I thought I was pretty far up town and fully organized for about a week or 10 days. ... Then cartos and attys and drip tips and batteries and all sorts of vape stuff just somehow started accumulating on my desk and my workbench again. Now there's also screws, and little rolls of wire, and pads of cotton, and more batteries, and different sized items to wrap coils around.... It's sort of like the 2 week medication organizer my wife bought me. I take a pill every day and sometimes forget if I took it or not. The 2 week pill organizer kept me squared away and knowing for sure if I took my pill or not... for about 2 weeks. Then it became just one more item cluttering up my desk because I can't seem to remember to put my pills in it when I get them.

I envy people who can keep stuff organized and who are dedicated enough to organization to always put things where they "belong". I spend a lot of my life thinking to myself, "Where did I see that last?" or "Didn't I used to have one of those?" or "Dang it! I know it was just in my hand a minute ago!" .... and sometimes spending half an hour looking for my glasses just to discover I am wearing them.

I have a "repair bag" that is actually a makeup bag (the kind that rolls up and ties with a string) - stores and travels very easily because you can tuck it in a purse/larger bag or desk drawer. It has many pockets for rayon, extra charged batteries, jeweler's screwdrivers, coil, spare bottles, etc (love all those compartments!).

Then I have 2 tackle boxes (walmart) - one is for all my small bottles of juice (mainly DIY steeping) and the other is my heavy duty items and backup stockpile of hardware (attys, chargers, batteries, mini drill, artistic coil wrapper thingy, coil, etc).

I have to have everything in its place because I'm not an organized person by nature and I tend to lose stuff.

I resemble your remarks! In fact, my longtime girlfriend just asked me if I changed my screen name, she thought I posted your comments!
