. Raw Potato

Raw potato can treat minor skin burns due to its anti-irritating and soothing properties. It will alleviate the pain and reduce the chance of having blisters.

  • Simply cut a slice of raw potato and rub it on the burn, making sure the juice from the potato is releasing over the area.
  • Another option is to grate a raw potato and apply it on the affected area for about 15 minutes.
For best results, use either of these remedies soon after the burn occurs.

Examples:

Window, Mirror, and Glass Cleaner: Equal parts water and vinegar

Duct tape
If it can't be fixed with duct tape then you need to use more!

Wart removal with duct tape:

Clean the wart and the skin area surrounding the wart.
Cut a piece of duct tape to a size slightly bigger than the wart.
Apply the duct tape to the site and rub into place.
Remove the tape every three days and file down dead skin with a pumice stone or nail file.
Repeat until the wart disappears.

The chemicals in the tape suffocate and kill the wart.

1. Home remedies
Headache Home Remedy: Lavender Oil
Not only does lavender smell great — it’s also a useful home remedy for headaches andmigraine pain. Lavender oil can be either inhaled or applied topically. Two to four drops for every two to three cups of boiling water are recommended when inhaling lavender-oil vapors as a headache treatment. Unlike many medicinal oils, this home remedy can also be safely applied externally without the need to dilute it. Lavender oil should not be taken orally.

Vodka for Foot Odor

If your feet smell less than swell, wipe them down with a vodka-soaked washcloth to get rid of the stench. It's the same principle as rubbing alcohol (which works equally well if you'd rather drink your Grey Goose). Vodka contains alcohol, which is antiseptic and drying, so it destroys odor-causing fungus and bacteria and dries out the moisture that lets these organisms grow.

Honey for hay fever
Actually, this remedy for hay fever may not be as wacky as it sounds — it’s endorsed by many reputable healers, and it’s a popular treatment in England. Honey that’s produced locally — say, within 25 miles of your home — may contain pollen from the plants that trigger your allergies. If you eat a spoonful or so of this honey daily during the winter, it’s just possible that it could act similarly to allergy shots and blunt your allergic reaction.
