It's snowing here and they say could be a lot by tomorrow. It's a winter storm warning in the spring here?
Trying to cover the plants, flowers, to protect from the heavy snow & freezing temps!

It's just the way it is here in the spring time sometimes, love it, or hate it but that's the way it is!
While trying to cover the honey suckle flower vines in garden area, there was a hummingbird getting his nectar & then went under the tarp to keep out of the snow...wow what a sight!

Something I hate about Spring is realizing how much weight I put on over the Winter. Better get to the beach and work it off...
There's Frisbee.
And different kinds of ball to play...
Or maybe I could go to the Gym. Look, they have a ball to play with there, too...

Well I like the seasonal changes and it really does change here in CO...sometimes you can have all the seasons, all at the same time! Yes we do have beaches and yes, right now they're white and just perfect if you belong to the polar bear club, i guess!

I haven't seen any Hornets in my area, but we have Cicada Killers. They are HUGE!
They kill Cicada bugs to feed to their young.
They dig a tunnel in the ground and then dig out large pit about a foot down, where they lay eggs and raise their young, feeding them the Cicada bugs. They don't usually bother people, but if they sting you, well... I guarantee that you don't want that!!! It's easy to spot their nest, if that's what it's called. You can see the dirt that's been dug out.
I ram large sticks in the holes to keep from having tons of them around.

Did you read my post about how I "found it" in Southern California? Are you one of those people who "found it" on Colorado?
I've never been to Colorado, but I'd love to see it. I'd also love to go to Utah for night sites like this...

You can keep your Cicada Killers. The few wasps and yellow jackets here are enough. They usually don't bother me but there's been a few times when one was hiding right where I grabbed hold of something.
