I'm one of the few folks in NC that doesn't like catfish. Any other kind of fish or seafood yes.. catfish no. It tastes like mud to me.
And we have a Bojangles and Hardee's here in my town.

What I'd like to do this Spring is get all of my tanks rebuilt and get all of my DIY juices made. But the thing is, I'm so easily distracted that it doesn't take much for me to forget about doing it. I used to love rebuilding and making DIY, but it seems more of a chore these days.
Well, that, and the fact that I'm lazy.
So I guess what I'd really like to do is find a gorgeous beach babe that enjoys doing these things, and coax her into doing them for me.
You know, someone like this...

I love Spring in general, but what I'd really love about it would be if there was a beautiful beach nearby. There's a manmade beach at a lake not too far away, and while it's better than nothing, I really miss the beaches of Southern California. I lived 80 miles north of L.A. for 3 years, starting in March of 1974.
I was in the Navy then, stationed at NAS Point Mugu on my first enlistment. The station is right on the coast, and there was a nice beach on base. I lived in Oxnard (you might remember it from The Rockford Files). I lived 2 blocks from a beach there, and drove the Ventura Highway to work and back every day. I was driving on that highway when I first heard the song Ventura Highway. Nostalgic, right? But I drove all up and down the coast to visit different beaches. I liked the beaches below Oxnard better. Driving the highway up and down the coast in SoCal was actually a lot of fun back then. Nothing like it is today!!!
So this is mostly why I'm so hung up on beaches. I'd love to be there again, vaping with this beauty...

You're absolutely right, Blue Babe. I've been to many beaches, but there's nothing like SoCal beaches... at least not to me. There's something magical that happens to me when I'm in SoCal. It's a feeling that I haven't experienced anywhere else. Some people find that in Colorado, and others in Florida, etc., but for me, it's Southern California. I know because I was able to go back there in 1985 for about 4 months. I had remembered it like a dream for years, and started to wonder if it was ever really that way for me, but as soon as I was there again, that wonderful feeling came back.
To me, it's a feeling of Freedom. Freedom to be who and what you are, and do whatever you want to do, as long as you aren't hurting someone, or taking advantage... not that I do that anyway. There's also a feeling of inner joy and peace. A contentedness, if you will. I guess "Love" is a good way to put it in one word. I could go into what I understand about the Metaphysics of it, but this will suffice for now.
And I'll say this, too. I've been posting a lot of pictures of women that I find beautiful. It hasn't been my intension to offend any of you beautiful ladies here, and I apologize if any of it has been taken that way. I've tried to keep it clean, but still express myself. Maybe a bit suggestive at times, but I've tried to keep it clean.
