As a gift, a friend of mine bought me an Orion V3 and had it sent to me. It seemed to work very nicely for about 3 hours or so when I took it out of my pocket and tried to take a vape. It had an E2 error code meaning resistance too high. The coil on it was about 1.5 ohms and had no hot spots and was producing great vapor. I thought it must be something wrong with the ss mesh wick or the coil. I tried about 6 different coils ranging between 1 and 3 ohms which is what the spec is supposed to be on this product.

I own several re-buildable atomizers and have owned several others as well as Hybrid devices so it is not a bad coil/wick combo causing this issue. The ohms reading on the Orion says 9.9 no matter what I do.

Nosmoker is apparently on a 3 month vacation and has not responded to a single message for over a month and the supplier from which this was purchased has tried to help but this device is not covered under their warranty. I have a $350 really cool, brand spanking new paper weight that worked for about 3 hours.

Fortunately I have plenty of other mods I like much better to vape on so it is more about the principle of the matter at this point.

Has anyone had an issues like this with this awesome device? If someone knows a quick fix please let me know because I am rather agitated at this point.
