I first heard he has been dead a week and they did some DNA testing first before announcing it.

This might explain the "heightened security level" at LAS (McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas) last Thursday 4/28 that turned my GLVs and batteries into a huge TSA event resulting in three separate x-ray scans, drug swabs, and a veritable interrogation as to their purpose and function. The agent kept telling his associates and supervisors "I don't know, these things have springs in the bottom and buttons on top and I'm having a hard time believing they're just fancy electronic cigarettes"

Fortunately, it's a win-win; bad guy is allegedly dead and I got to keep my GLVs.

They just said on the news that he was killed earlier today, but I would guess that they still would have done some sort of testing to confirm that it was him.
