OT but important!

It has come to my attention that someone on this board has deliberately made an attempt to slander and make a public attack on another member via copyright infringement.

I recently found an online video uploaded by a user other then its creator. This usually wouldn't be that big of a deal if proper credit was made to the orginal owner. Unfortunately the account this video was uploaded to has a name that is less favorable and actually quite demeaning to the original owner "whom we all know as a member here"


Why would one of you do this? What did this person do? How can you stoop so low as to make a blinded personal attack on someone? I guess when I started on this board I looked up to some of you for good information... as time went on I began to learn that things are not as they seem around here. There are secret deals being made, Little cliques in the form of online chat groups labeled as elite groups, and basically a small group of people who think they are higher above then everyone. WHY?!

We all come here to simply talk about V4L, share ideas/information we have gathered, and joke around. Yet for some reason this has turned into a place where people take shots at each other... Write blogs on their personal sites attacking each other, making videos that are more about showing how much more they know instead of actually portraying the information that people wanted to get when they saw the title of the video.

I am sure I will be ousted for bringing this up... Guess I don't really care. I hope this will help people take a nice look at what this board was created for... V4L!

I ask that whomever uploaded the video I referenced take it down.... the original author does not deserve that kind of treatment... A copyright claim has been made and youtube admin's were alerted. So I guess do the right thing... show some maturity and quit with the slandering and games.

Any questions or concerns regarding why I posted this... can be directed to me... I made this post because I wanted to address an issue I saw arise.

I won't give names or the link to the video out... The point of this is to hopefully get the channel creator to delete the account, I don't know who it is but I do know they had to have seen it in this subforum, therefor it is only logical to make a public thread pointing it out so they can see it in the same place where they gathered the original video and author information....

I'm nosy though, you are being way too vague! Wish I knew what you're talking about! Back in the day (and I mean roughly a year ago) there were all kinds of tiffs between the vendor subforums. So far it looks like it's settled down a bit, at least in this subforum. But I'm sure it still happens. I wish it were all puppies and rainbows, but some people just can't stand being nice and/or considerate. Hope it all gets worked out Whistles

Btw, did you inform the person who is being attacked of this attack? If it were me (which I'm sure it's not...well at least I hope it's not!) I would want to know! Lol, but like I said, I want to know even if it's not me!

Hmmm...well that definitely sounds like me...my videos are totally worthless when it comes to any actual useful information. I wonder who you are inferring to, "Write blogs on their personal sites attacking each other"? Well I don't have any blogs, so who is this mystery person(s) that takes shots at others on their personal blog? If that's true that doesn't sound nice, but then again they are free to write whatever they want, hence it is known as a personal blog.

So here you are taking shots at other people, while complaining the forum is "a place where people take shots at each other..." That's not only fascinating, but quite entertaining and certainly absent of any hypocrisy. Especially when you follow it up with, "I am sure I will be ousted for bringing this up... Guess I don't really care." That's nice.

Personally, if it has you this upset I wish I could take credit for whatever it is your are talking about and disrupting the forum over. But we both know, that's not my style is it Whistles? Because I'm gonna tell you exactly how I feel and be done with it as you and a handful of select others well know. If you have something to say to me...then by all means PM me and say it, don't worry it will remain between us.

Like Harmony, I cannot decipher your riddles, but I certainly can see through your pointed inferences. If your mad about something, that's one thing, report it to the proper authorities...but to make wild allegations about fellow forum members is another. I believe the purpose of this forum is quite clear and I'm not sure posts like this was what it is was ever meant for.

I don't know what going on....but I'm gonna find out...because it sounds absolutely fascinating.

Whistles said the reason he posted it here was because he did not know the culprit, and in essence was asking that person to consider doing the right thing. I see nothing wrong with that at all. And maybe I am dense, but I saw no personal shots or attacks from him.

I know you guys are talking about my Blog and I have no idea why. I am not a Bully at all,ever! Dont even go there. My Blogs are not centered around V4L. They have to do with many things going on in the vaping comunity.

V4l shouldnt lose customers because of a bully.It shouldnt be allowed to happen.Its up to them to do something about it.

Will finally add something, this has turned into exactly what I knew it would. Welcome to the pity party witch hunt.... This honestly never should have been posted. If the person who was insulted by this name or video was to complain it would be one thing, instead it's someone jumping the gun and pointing fingers without proof. Amazing some of those who come out in defense of the unknown person know nothing of the details. Whistles sir no offense meant, but you telling them to contact you via skype for the details only fuels the fire. They're getting only your side of the story, but that's it.

As for some others in this thread, amazing how you throw around bully when there was another deleted thread not too long ago where you showed how much a bully you could be. Has anyone ever stopped and wondered what went on behind the scenes? Doubt it. When you only see one side or one part of a convo you take everything out of context because you don't know the real story....

Ms. Keyzy you asked why, will only speak for myself because that's what I do, I took your blog about how you can only trust those who have vaped as long or longer than you for advice insulting. Fact you pointed out there are people who understand the technical aspects, but pass it off as unneeded, well... How else should I take it? My intentions here have always been pure. No attention seeking, just the want to help whoever I can and give a few laughs on the way... Your blog made me feel all I try to do, worthless because I haven't vaped as long as you. Yet oddly enough kept that to myself, why? Because your track record says that isn't who you are and I shouldn't take it personal and maybe you had other reasons for writing it. I try my best not to jump to conclusions, wish I could say the same of others.....

Ms. Keyzy it's nothing to worry about or apologize about. That's why I kept it to myself, because knowing who you are figured I took it the wrong way. Can't speak for others and how they took it, but that's my point. People should never jump to conclusions. Always step back and ask why did this happen? What events lead up to this? Am I sure I know the whole story before flying off the handle? People just did that alot of these little whatever you wish to call them would go away. Any time I have an issue with someone it's handled off the boards and via pm. Though even that doesn't help because some people don't know the meaning of the word private....
