OT: East coasters-thoughts and prayers from N.O.

I suppose those hardest hit can't even read this one as they are without power. I watched Irene tear up the a hundred communities this weekend and I feel for you guys. Today is the anniversary of hurricane Katrina (6 years ago). It was such a difficult time for me and everyone I knew. Folks from other parts of the country showed up and helped us as best they could. And for that we are thankful down here.

So today, if you pray, please send a prayer for those in need. If you don't, then at least think of them and lend any help you can.

Thoughts and prayers for those in the north. I saw on the news Vermont had horrible floods and almost all of Conn is without power. A lot of rivers etc flooded over up north. Hope you dry out and get things back to normal soon.

Glad you asked I was wondering to and glad everyone is OK up there, Florida's been lucky this year so far (knock on wood )

Well, ty for the prayers. We didnt get the worst of it here in northern Ct. . It was a minor outage of elec. in our city, 36 hours or so without elec.. My prayers go out to those in southern Ct., some towns have a 100% outage with no real idea of when they will get there service back. Now of course I went and bought a $800 generator at 9 am today, service came back on at 6pm.

Well, it looks like we've got a disturbance in the carribean and Katia off the coast of Africa. I wanted to go canoeing this weekend with an ice chest full of wheat beer and my raspberry vanilla vape concoction. Stay tuned.

Well, some areas got that much but we had breaks which allowed our pumps to catch up and keep things dry. We are ok, thanks all for your concern.
