OT: How Many Times is too Many for Corned Beef n Cabage 'tween now and St Patty's?

Man, I love this stuff, and it's on sale already! Got my first Friedrich corned beef thin cut in the pot now, just simmering away. Smells oh so good! fresh cabbage, boiled small red potato and some Irish soda bread. I overdose on butter when I eat this stuff.

Here's an old Irish thing... sweat some sliced onions in a frying pan, mash up the leftover potato, cut up the cabbage. Get it all into a frying pan with lots of butter. It's called colcannon, and it's tasty, well, only if you like cabbage I suppose.

OK.... if you hate it, do you hate corned beef hash too? I LOVE that stuff! Fry it up all crispy, throw a couple poached eggs on top... splash a dash of worstershire on that puppy.... heaven.

I have had bok choy, the real thing, and I've had kim che as well, no thanks! My mother in law lived in Vietnam and my wife was actually born in Saigon.

Nothing is as good for breakfast as eggs benedict with a sublime hollandaise sauce.

Back On Topic...love Corned Beef...but spare me the cabbage.
