100% agree Ms. Addy. Intel beats amd as of right now in performance, but price is ridiculous if running multiple machines. I've only built one fully wc system (Glamdring), it's my benching and gaming machine. It's a lot of hassel at times (especially when replacing graphic cards and when I have to flush the system), but worth it when it comes to overclocking. Every other build is air. No need for more than one. Maxwell (the possible 600 series, you never know with their numbering system) looks to be up your alley for your next upgrade. Supposed to be up to 3 times as fast as Fermi in the computing department....

Darrigaaz sir, I'm shocked that even still works...

ps3 is the best. sorry to hear youre having problems, but ive had mine for a year (250 gb slim) and the only things that have gone wrong are overheating from playing too long for many straight hours and freezing during a game, which are both common issues. anyway, i love the ps3 and the slim is supposed to be improved in terms of hardware...you had one for four years so you had it since the beginning. bugs always appear during the first models of any technology you know? plus, wiht the way things are manufactured these days, id say four years using a piece of hardware everyday many times is actually not bad. i think they make things so they break and you have to either spend money on repairs and upgrades or just buy new hardware altogether. hope your new ps3 works well too.

I still have a 100mHz Pentium I computer with Win 3.1 installed...

I'm got an 6Mhz Dynabyte DB8000 with 32K of memory running CP/M. Does that count? Or the Vic20, the C64, the C128, the Atari 400, 600, 600XL, 800. I've got a new unopened Coleco in the box too. ;)

I've got one of the SGI's that actually worked on rendering for Jurrassic Park. My Sparc-I still runs...

Ain't that the truth yellow! I've got two first gen. PS2's that still run like champs, spend more, get less! Not a good marketing strategy in my mind, but I'm just an ignorant redneck!
I'll play some more with the wifi when the boy is done playing tonight. Should be an interesting time, the wife got the "MOVE" setup for Christmas, just before the old machine died, so it's never been setup. I told her after my headaches last night/this morning, that was all hers to get set up!
This should be fun to watch!

Well I don't actually use it, but yeah, last time I checked, it still works :)

I've got 3 gaming computers setup in my "study". One belongs to the wife though. Sometimes there's 4 in there when MyHyde brings his over for a LAN party.

Addy, I've still got an Atari 400 complete with external floppy drive and SuperDOS on a disk. I remember the hours playing Qbert, Centipede, Joust, and a great game called Mule.
