So, I know that Vapor Renew owns flavor west.
I bought the big bottle of e-caffeine from Flavor West, but I was wondering since at Vapor Renew, you can get "renew blend" which is electrolytes & papaya leaf extract, and you can choose to have the things below that i've listed below added to your juice, where can I buy these that are in vapable form? The caffeine I bought is actually "E-Caffeine", which means it's ok to be inhaled, but are the other ingredients safe to be inhaled as extracts? Are they just that, extracts? I would like to add these to my juices, which is why i'm asking.

  • Ginko Biloba Leaf Extract (.81mL)
  • Ginseng (.11mL)
  • Green Tea Extract (.07mL)
  • Milk Thistle (.06mL)
  • Papaya Leaf Extract (.15mL)
  • Vitamin B12 (.29mL)
  • Vitamin C (.66mL)

I think that it would be very hard for anyone to say that any of it is safe since there have only been very limited studies on inhaling vapor created by ejuice as it is. My rule of thumb is to use the least amount of additives possible to be able to stay off the cigs but that is only my personal opinion.

B-12 nasal inhalers are prescribed by doctors, so presumably are safe. The real question for that one is does it change when heated. I don't have the answer, but I really hope someone does because multi-vitamins hurt my stomache, and if I could get my vitamins from my vape, it would be awesome!

:thumb:+1, totally agree with Salem here. Started vaping to get away from extra chemicals in cigs, no way I am adding anything more than just a drop or 2 of flavoring.

Off topic but Daisy you might try looking for a vitamin that doesn't contain iron as that is often the cause of stomach issues.

Yeah but nightsong, we are not talking about cancer causing carcinogens or chemicals, he is talkin about things that are known to help you. I really do wish this was more thoroughly researched because I hate taking vitamins as well and this would be the perfect solution, I am gonna try some of the b12 from vapor renu tho.

Thank you atavanhalen for understanding the original question I asked, also Daisy D.
All of my Vapor Renew juices are with renew blend & B-12 added. I think i'm just gonna email Jason & ask what B-12 extract he is using & how he knows that it is indeed vape safe.

Also, Daisy (you know what I do for a living), but you may try taking your vitamins with food. The only abdominal complication I know with Iron is constipation. Also, with Calcium, you need Vitamin D to absorb it. You can ingest all of the calcium you want, but without vitamin D, it's not gonna be absorbed......(i.e. ride your bike in some sunlight, go for a walk, eat lunch at the park) as uva & uvb are the most natural sources of vitamin D.

So, just in case anyone reading this thread does not understand.............I am not attempting to add cancer causing chemicals to my vape. I would like to add natural herbs and vitamins though.

Let me know what you find out about the B12 Jen. I love the B heavy fruit juices, but they are so expensive (like Naked and Odwalla).

I'm not sure why I react to the multis. I get horrendous heartburn with burping that tastes like burnning rubber. I don't get heartburn any other time. This happens when taken with food too, just not as bad.

Sorry to hijack your thread Jen.:offtopic:

I have researched the b12 specifically because it is available (and I use it) in a sublingual form. There is very little info out there however I did find a few detailed articles about how it all works & they say it is heat stable (referring to cooking). You can read about it here
Vitamin Basics: Vitamin B12

I'm also interested in this as I personally love the idea of adding caffeine etc

Cool.. those sound awesome! I used to study a lot about health and nutrition and Natural Hygiene (the science of healing the body through nutrition) and It would be really neat if those vapes would do the body some good.. if so.. I'd try em in a heartbeat.

My problem is if they are like life giving/healing enzymes found in foods and natural herbs, and you heat them to over 110 degrees the enzymes get destroyed and you lose the health benefits. I suspect that may happen with the heat of our atty's.

I used to go to the Dr. and get b-12 and peroxide IV drips = These do wonders for healing in the body and make ya feel great for days too!

Oh yeah.. I love drinking coffee. Please tell me what you think of the E-Caffeine when you try it and how you think it compares to coffee - I may try it too.

That happens to my usband if he doesn't eat with them or lays down after the dose. Vitamins don't absorb anyway unless you take them with a food that contains fat. I like to take mine after breakfast since I usually do eggs and dairy or peanut butter.

I've used the E-Caffiene for about a month now. I definitely think coffee is stronger. (I do a Double venti americano with sugar free vanilla) before work in the mornings. haha

Thank you for the reply ! I still think I will try some. I too am used to strong coffee. I drink homemade espresso.

I will try that. I usually would take them with crackers or oatmeal. Do you think milk has enough fat in it? I can't eat heavy in the morning. My stomache doesn't wake up until about 10 am.

I sit middle of the road on this subject.

On the one hand, because I have to take SO many bloody pills, I'd like to add as little as possible to my nic fix.

On the other hand, I would rather get my bodily needs/supplements in a natural way, than by these man made concoction (re: manufactured nightmares that they call pills)

So... that said...
1. how are you liking the B-12 juice? Have you found it made a difference?
2. thank you for the sample of e-caffiene! Now, how do I use it!???
3. are there any other supplements or vitamins you've run across?

I saw that too and wonered if you took the vitiams (powered ones) and added to PG or VG if it would work. Also made some starbucks and dunkin coffee with PG after steeping 5 days in purified water would it still have caff. in it?

Behind you
Americans already have the most expensive urine in the world with all the stuff we take in that never amounts to anything and just leaves in the urine. Now we're working toward the most expensive exhaled vapors.

I sincerely hope this is all a-OK but I'm very skeptical and concerned. For one, some of these things have very specific pathways to absorption and even then they're delivered via a nasal pathway they're usually "riding" something else. So absorption through the lungs? That's assuming they dissolve, don't suffer from the oxidation/steeping process of the juice, and make it past the applied heat. Caffeine is the most likely of these to work from what I'm reading. B12 seems likely depending on the form used in the first place.

And, being a Libertarian, I absolutely positively believe people should have the right to do this, research this, etc. all on their own without FDA intervention each and every time. However, we don't live in that country yet...

So if the FDA is already trying to crack down on herbals? And the FDA is already trying to crack down on e-cigs? And some big pharmacies and tobacco companies are trying to stave off the competition? Sooo.....

How long do you think it'll take for them to add this practice to the list of reasons they should take another freedom away from us in favor of big pharma or big tobacco? -Magnus
