When I vape, it seems to cause a build up of pressure in my ears causing them to ache. Sinuses are fine, throat a bit raw. It definitely seems more pronounced when I use a PG mix. When I use a 80/20 pg/vg mix, I can actually feel my ear canals start to swell. I can "pop" them to relieve the pressure, though. VG has the same effect just not as pronounced.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am hoping that this is just part of the adjustment phase!

Well, I have been vaping on and off for over 3 years but for the last 7 months I have quit smoking and been strictly vaping. The health problems I have from the very first week of vaping and quitting cigs were, plugged sinuses, pressure in ears that make it hard to hear, post nasal drip, sore throat, swollen tonsils and sleep apnea. The pressure in my ears was the first thing that I noticed, the sinus congestion came next and so on. Been to the doctors several times and nothing bacterial or viral found so the doctor finally told me last week that if these symptoms did not stop after my last course of antibiotics that I would have to consider quitting vaping.

I already tried switching from PG to VG, tried hundreds of different liquids, all the different types of cartomizers, atties etc but nothing seems to change. Can't be that I am allergic to PG because my toothpaste contains it yet poses no problems. If you find out that vaping is the cause of your plugged ears, please pm me and let me know.

Aloha, Keith
