as for me: thank heavens my taste is getting back, not yet as it was but at least i can vape gold&silver again in the reo, after dripping menthol on an ego-batt for 2 day's then you really know how much you miss the reo
am thinking bout my nic level, getting the imperssion am starting to adjust to 18mg and that i may need more, or maybe use a second liquid with 24mg or so to use when the cravings are big enough to let me cave in and go for an analog.

as for my love: am still stalking the mailman for the DIY stuff to arrive. but me getting impatient i grabbed his ecopure and added some of the nic-base that i have. the nic went from 15mg to 17.3mg to test both the nic level and the nic-base itself on him, so far so good

It's good that your enjoying your REO. You'll find that it'll be one, if not your favorite mod for a long time coming.

Also, some people like to switch between different nic levels throughout the day. Starting off with something that isn't as strong and move up a notch through the afternoon to evening hours. Or visa-versa depending on the person. Well, hoping your DIY arrive soon.

yes indeed, the reo is the one and only mod for us both, we don't own any other mod. if we see some other nice mod on the net then i think nah, i am perfectly happy with my reo, why should i even bother i only fall back on dripping on an ego batt if i have a very special reason for it, like testing a new liquid or menthol or other strong flavors witch may take ages to get out of the reo.

another update:

my experiments with 24mg didn't work out very well. i had a stongly flavored liquid of 16mg nic, witch i used to vape bout 6 months ago. adding the nic base did indeed not thinn the taste too much, in fact i liked it better however after a bit of vaping i started to feel not so good. wondering if i was od'ing or from the liquid itself, i tryied the original liquid yesterday morning and again i started to feel not so good. having another one of the same brand i tryied that one...by noon i think i was looking a bit green in my face

took me up until in the evening to feel better again. so now am wondering, did those liquids gone bad in such short time? anyhow, i still don't have a good impression of the 24mg nic, i'll give it another try later, as the DIY stuff has arrived, so lots of things to experiment with now

1. base nic liquid: after some chain vaping his stomage start to react, also i bought it from the same shop, aroud the same time, as the liquids i got sik from. so to be better safe then sorry, am gonna buy some new nic base.
2. VG base from england: did start to irritate him, his lungs as wel as his stomage...on the label it said made in China. one of the two suspects, the chineese use something he is sensetive for, or it has to do with the flavors.
3. VG base from poland: gosh, this is a very nice, soft and gentle one, even nice to vape it without any nic or flavour. no clue what they say on the bottle as it is all in polish, but their website is in english. so i do think i have found my supplyer.



am so happy with that!

It's good that you have finally found the right VG for the both of you. With the e-liquid that you described in your last post that got you to be nauseated. I would just throw that bottle in the trash, it's not worth it. I had something similar happen to me with some atomic cinnamon which cause some irritation in my throat. It's actually the only one that ended up in the garbage.

yeh it's going to the trash, 3x30ml's bout 15 USD ea....had to stock up coz the dutch shops are out of stock on a regular basis witch can take up weeks. also had to trash/swap quite some more when we had to switch to VG. quitting analogs isn't exactly been cheap to us yet. thank to the reo it at least partially has liquid-wise that time will come soon i hope. placed another order for some VG nic base and more flavors at the polish shop, they are very cheap

made some DIY samples yesterday, tasted strange, bit chemical. tasted better today, so i'll let them steep for a couple of day's. also made them with zero nic, so that may also be different i suppose. quess this DIY thing takes time, to find your all-day juice.

Yeah, DIY is a real money saver when it comes down to it. Still wanna try that out myself later on. Some say it's better to steep freshly made juice for at least a week or so to let everything settle down and mix properly.

as my cooking i try to keep it simple, just a flavor that will be good on it's own, have 6 of them steeping, one of them a tabacco menthol...don't even dare to make it more complex, well as least not yet

yeah, did read that most of them let them steep for a week at least...so i am (im)patiently waiting for the weekend

update:

my aditional order from poland arrived, witch made me able to make us propper liquids. so first things first, gave him the 18mg flavorless, he liked it very much, but it was irritating his lungs and was coughing all the time . for once no stomage in protest but his lungs, sigh. i should have known, heard him a bit coughing when he was testing the 0mg. stupid me, was so happy that his stomage was good. can't get myself to buy more bases to try and possibly fail again, so think for DIY for him i'll have to use the ecopure base.

next, while my DIY samples are steeping, i thought i'll try the 3 samples from LF UK, from their XO series, 1st...mm nice, a tat too sweet for him tho, 2nd...he grabs his reo and put it almost into my face and said: i want it! so i put it into his reo and he is still vaping it. for 1.5 day now and no organs are acting up oh, and the 3rd one is very nice too

still im holding back on the ordering, i'll wait till he vaped away the whole 5ml sample away (he only vape 0.5-1ml a day lately) coz i want to be very very sure this time. and after testing the flavors that i have, i'll see if there's one he likes enough to order the ecopure bases. would be great to have at least 3 liquids for him to vary.

ooh and placed an order for liquid for my love and a 1.7 ohm atty as a surpice for him to try as he likes a warm vape. fingers crossed, i so hope he will at least lower his cig use to begin with oh and also asked LF if they sell the same base as they use in their XO liquids, so i can use that for DIY. hope they will reply soon.

update: am nic OD-ing here

got my order from LF from UK today with the surprice LR atty (1.7 ohm) for my love in it, and quess what, he likes it a lot, except the ecopure isn't exactly bullitproof so it gave him a cough so into my reo and quess what no cough so next step will be the XO liquid for him to try with the LR, but that needs to steep coz they make it on the order.

so quess who is trying the LR a bit more, me geee that is indeed an improvement, more closer to smoking this is, alltho my juice tastes different and miss the regular (at 2.2 ohm) taste, i do enjoy it more..too much...im OD-ing on the 18mg coz i don't want to put it aside

as for the DIY am emailing with Abe from LF UK with questions about their XO range, coz it will make a shortcut for me on the trial and error with that very sensitive man i have (and he's all mine ). and Abe turned out to be very helpfull indeed. i know now that their DIY bases are the same as they use in their XO range so i will be able to use their bases for DIY. so i'll have to order some more, and i sent them another mail bout PG in the flavourings, as i now think that PG may be the culprit after all, and that the XO range is very very low on PG.

Glad you and your man are enjoying the 1.7 ohm atty. It does give a different flavor to the juice since it's running hotter. Sometimes it can mute weaker flavored juices, fruit, and dessert flavors too. Although, Tobaccos do shine at 1.5 - 1.8 ohms.

My suggestion is for you to switch off between the two atomizers that you have for different flavors. That what I do all the time when I switch out juices. Hopefully, you can find the right XO range that will do well with your husband. Once that happens, both of you will be in vaping heaven.

indeed, had the LR on my reo with Gold&Silver, a sweet tobacco, it's still nice but the sweetness is gone. did it on the reo with USA mix and that is just great, tastes so much better, so i think it is a stayer. my love doesn't like sweet juices so he'll be good on the LR with the XO juice he likes.

ecopure is just another story, it isn't a sweet tobacco so the taste is great at 1.7 ohm, it produces at 2.2 ohm allready tons of vapor so at 1.7 ohm you can fill a room with vapor in no time with it. also you have to be very good at feeding with this juice as dry burns are even easy to have at 2.2 ohms.

i also noticed i really need to put the USA mix down more often with the LR, can't chain-vape it, i will OD otherwise, how can that be? not that's a bad thing at all, coz makes us both able to have our hands free more often to do something usefull

so yeah, looks like we're gonna use both, depending on the liquid we're using
