Our 801 Blinks a Green LED - What's up with that?

Just got the 801 over the weekend. No user manual in the box. ;( No reply from vendor when we emailed the question. So, maybe somewhere here will answer us(hub and me). Why does the LED on the 801 blink sometimes while in the charger, sometimes while taking a pull?

There's probably an online manual - just Google the make and model. The battery usually blinks for one of four reasons. 1) You've just put it into the charger, and it "acknowledges" that. 2) You've inhaled for too long, or with too much force, and the automatic shut-off has kicked in. Give it 30 seconds, and you can vape again. It may blink up to five times. 3) The battery is run down, and needs charging. 4) The self-cleaning mechanism has turned on (usually around 15 quick blinks). Take off your cartridge, and let the battery burn off the gunk in your atomizer.

Thanks, good advice. But, how does the battery burn the gunk off the atomizer, by just sitting there? Sorry if I sound dumb as you can see I'm new. So, dumb I ended up hitting the send button twice on my first post. You can just reply here one time. Thanks again for your help.

The battery heats up the atomizer during the self-cleaning cycle, like it does when you're vaping, and the gunk inside burns off. You'll see some smoke coming out the top of the atomizer.

One of my 801 batteries blinks blue when you're vaping on it, then green when the battery has run down.
