Saintscruiser husband came down with flu last night and is hospitalized.

Needs us to Pray for health/healing for husband and strength for Saintscruiser to come through this attack.

It just keeps going and going and going! BUT, 'I know Who I have believeth and am persuaded that He is able, to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day!' The closer I get to the Lord, the more the hits come. I do need His strength. Thank you all for your prayers. They are deeply appreciated.

Husband is extremely grouchy and quite irritable. That tells me that he's better! Why is it that most, not all, but most men make lousy patients? When they get sick at home, they act like no man has ever been sick before and they are the only one who's ever been sick......you know, whiney! (What's the difference between a puppy and a sick husband? The puppy quits whining after 2 months!) THEN, if they go to the hospital, they act like there is nothing wrong and they can't believe they're in the hospital! It has to be a 'guy' thing! I wasn't planning on going to the hospital yesterday, but I got to feeling a bit better, made him some Christmas sugar cookies and took them. (Those are his favorites!) He fussed and complained the whole time I was there, and when he kept dozing off, I left. I am exhausted! I don't sleep well when he's not home. So, if he doesn't come home today, I'm going to finish laundry and sleep!!! You see what time I'm on this website. HOWEVER, Praise God he is better! They are giving him antibiotics through i.v. His maltese is moping around. She always does when he's gone. All will be better soon! God is with us! Amein!

I promise.....you can't make this stuff up! Husband got to come home today! Yeah!!!!! His mom brought him home and they'd gone to Chick Fil A for a few sandwiches. Well, he was so enthusiastic to be home and have one of his favorite comfort foods when he got a large bite and it got stuck in his esophagus as he has had this on and off for years. NOTHING we did fixed it. We had to go back to the ER and they admitted him.....AGAIN, and he'll have a scope and stretching tomorrow morning. The room they put him in is the same one he left earlier! Like I said, ya can't make this stuff up! So they will scope him in the a.m. I hope and he can come home! Third time in the hospital since 11/5/14. This is unreal! He's on first name basis with the nurses on the 2nd floor. I laid hands on him and prayed. He was really irritable. I pray he comes home for good tomorrow and if I were a betting person, I'd say he will never eat another Chick Fil A sandwich ever again!

MM, this could be the feeling I had in my gut. I don't think this is it, but it could be. MM and I were talking about a week or two ago and I told him something is coming down the pike. The Lord told me that everything was going to be fine. This could be it or not. I'm just not sure at this point. Please continue to pray for us. Thank you all!

Have to believe some how the lord said go right and hubby choose left and it led him to chick Fil.
Can always tell a man's man they turn left 99% of the time.

Is hubby done with the Flu (gone) or just good enough to go home?

    Hang in there. :nun:

His mom was driving and they both like Chick-Fil-A (EAT MORE BEEF)....yeah maybe next time. I think they're too salty, but oh well.

They did a scope on Friday and the food had already gone down, but his esophagus was quite irritated. They stretched him, and home he came. I finally got a good nights sleep Friday night. ZZZZZZZZZZZ's. But then yesterday, my e-cig had a 2nd burnt coil and I got up, threw on clothes and off to the vape shop I went. I looked like garbage on a cracker! Didn't care cause my throat got messed up from it. They asked me if I primed it. I said, "Did I do 'whoody whatty'?" Live and learn. I ruined 2 coils by not priming it within 2 days. :ohmy:NOW I KNOW! Then, I had to go to my sister's....if I hadn't gone, my meds would have been low. LONG STORY that I will spare you from. I prayed all the way out there for strength. When I got there, I was able to take 1/2 dose meds and we had a GREAT TRIP down memory lane when our parents were alive. We enjoyed ourselves sooooooo much and we both truly needed it. The Lord knew it, too! We laughed and cut up and I didn't want to leave. But, since I had to drive 20 something miles, I figured I needed to get home before all the inebriated folks got on the road.

No, he's not completely well, but we're past the contagious stage. With insurance, Tamiflu was $126.00 for 9 pills! He's coughing his head off, but then my sister has that too. It's going around. I have my regular 'refill my meds' dr.'s appointment 2morrow. It's been nuts around here! Is it just my household or is anyone else getting hit like this????!!!!!!

After you prime your wick, I suggest letting it soak in around 5 min before vaping.

Hind sight is 20/20!! They also told me to dump the burnt juice. I just should have called you, MM! :laugh:5 minutes, makes sense to me!:) He is coughing non-stop. I hate those spells. Please continue to pray for us, if you're not burned out praying for us. Thank you all! You guys mean so very much to me. You are all family.
