So... you leave ECF for a while, and when you come back all the trendy things have changed. :) So many things to re-learn. I'll apologize in advance for asking what may be dumb questions, but after searching around on here for the last hour, I can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for. I'm hoping some of you can tell me if it's worth checking out the bottom dual-coil clearos. In particular, I'm looking at the Aspire ET/ET-S. Maybe. Unless y'all say it isn't worth it.

I will say this - the only 2-3 times I've tried a dual coil clearo, they were both top dual coils and I couldn't stand them. WAY too hot, to the point that I couldn't even recognize the flavor of my favorite juice. Cleaned 'em out, sold 'em here, never to try again. Are the new bottom dual coils cooler than the top coils? (I would assume so.)

Also I do not like an airy draw. I picked up two of the original Protanks and several of the "new" T3S's (new at the time - the ones with the clear drip tip) in the Kanger co-op last year, and promptly gave away/sold those because I couldn't stand the airy-ness. Right now my favorite clearo is the little ol' T3 mini, but others I use are the old-style Kanger MT3 and the EVOD. Also, a Kanger T2 for one menthol flavor in particular.

Other random things that may or may not matter.... I like ego-sized clearos, I really don't enjoy rebuilding/recoiling atomizers, I don't vape tank-cracker juices, I usually use somewhere between 65PG/35VG and 50/50.... um, I think that's all the vital stuff?

So, what do you think? How do the Aspire BDC's compared to any of those I've mentioned above - hot/warm/cool vape? Airy/medium/tight airflow? Or is there some other new & shiny thing that I should be looking at instead?

Thanks! :)

Every brand on this forum has lovers and haters. They all gurgle and leak for someone.

We wanted to switch to glass and I tried the ET-S. ~$8 most places. Love em. ego bottom seems to solve air flow problems with 510 style tanks. Chrome or whatever metal started blistering my wife's lips. Bought a bag of soft plastic covers. Meanwhile I got a vivi nova S style with 510. Love it but have to fiddle with it sometimes to stop whistling. I'm going to start using the support ring as an air flow controller. These have plastic removable drip tips. Got the wife one and she likes it. Just got 2 mini novas. $9 with two spare coils. Coils are 5 for $11. Almost as cheap with 1 plus 2=3.
Total 7 ET-S, 2 nova S, 2 mini nova S. I check the coil for tightness whenever I fill. Unscrewing the cap can loosen the coil.
Watched Rip Tripper's videos for rebuilding the BDC and Nautilus. Made single coils and tossed the filler material. Works great.
