Outer thread charger for my used (and probably abused) Ego-C Twist batteries?

Hi,
I've got 4 older Ego C Twist batteries that I have put aside, as their inner threads have worn away through over-use (and probably some abuse).
I'm about to order a couple of Kanger MT3S's. These look like they attach to the outside threads, which will allow me to resurrect these old batteries (which still hold a decent charge).
But - I can only find inner-thread chargers.

Anyone know of an outer thread charger?

Alternatively, anyone know how I can recondition/replace the inner threads?

I am in Canada by the way.

Thanks!
Andrew

Found one that may work - no guarantees as I've never used one:

EGO to EGO 510 Atomizer Adapter [2104] : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes

EGOnewThreadAdapter.jpg

EGO threaded connection to EGO Cartomizer / Atomizer Adapter. Bottom end only has EGO outer threads, not 510 inside threads. 510 EGO atomizer connection on the other end. Ideal for use when 510 threads have become distorted, and your outer EGO threading is intact. Commonly used on VAMO Devices (Version 2 and Newer), EGO style batteries, etc...

Thanks Kent.
Looks good. I couldn't find that adapter in Canada, but I found one for the internal thread that may or may not work... we'll see...

Thanks,
Andrew

It looks to me that T3s attys do use the outside threads of the battery. But, so do all of my el-cheapo Ce4 and Ce5's. I perceive your problem to be the inside threads being stripped and not allowing proper connection to the battery. My thoughts would be to get a regular USB charger and remove the threads (file, dremel tool, etc.,) such that the battery can fit into (onto) the charger and make the connection. You will probably need to "wedge" the battery and charger together while charging occurs. The little charger run around $5 max and come apart with two screws.

These are my thoughts. This is the type of thing I would do. If you do it, it is because you think it is a good idea. Be careful. Do not leave this assembly attended. Do this in a fireproof bucket, or such. Wear safety glasses and make sure you have adult supervision. Your mileage may vary... (Which is intended to say - I ain't responsible for your actions.)
