Hello guys! I am new to this forum even though i have been vaping since 2009 and i am really excited to have found you!
I am currently vaping the Ovale 510T (i hope it's ok to mention brand names) and following the recent explosion and the various warnings that this forum has announced regarding battery safety, i want to ask the following :
- Is 510 tank considered a safe "mod"? Do you know if it uses a rechargeable Li-ION battery or anything else? I know that it is 3,7volts.
- So is it safe enough? What do you guys think? Does it satisfy the conditions that have been sent to me when i registered for battery safety? i.e.

Uses Li-Mn rechargeable batteries, or alternatively protected Li-ion batteries (must have both overcharge and short-circuit protection). Never use unprotected Li-ion batteries or standard non-rechargeable batteries.
- Gas vent holes [holes must be drilled to vent the gas that might result from a battery failure]
- A kill switch [a second switch that disconnects the batteries totally during transport and storage]

I dont think the "kill switch" exists in my battery!

Anyway, i hope somebody will help me on this. I really enjoy my e-cig and i am terrified since the unfortunate accident a week ago! Please help!
