I've been holding off trying to wait for my preferred smaller mom and pop type vendors to start carrying the eGo tank system, but I think I'm going to have to cave and place an order with Ovale. Besides attys and tanks don't last forever, so I can always buy from my preferred vendors in the future. (Justification is a wonderful thing.) :)

Thank, Cozzi, for the follow-up. Great job, as usual. I'm sitting here, trying to finish my work and vaping my eGo mega (modded) atty. My tankomizers should be here soon, I hope.

Here's hoping my eGo-t atty will be as good as yours.

Me too. I'd hate to be blamed for a bad purchase.

:p

Dead on as usual. I have said in the past our vaping "habits" are so ridiculously similiar it's scary. I just couldn't understand why you seemed so leery of it in the last vid. But I understood....new product...new technology....wait and see approach. Smart actually. I fell head over heels from day one on it. Never screwed my mega atty on, ever again. My GLV-2 sits there and stares at me, wondering why I don't pick her up. Convenience, consistency and a very acceptable Vape is why. I love to play around with new pv's and mods (not HV so much) but this is my daily driver until something else comes along and matches this.

Thanks cozzi
but now the dilemma I ordered this system for me and my wife but both of our go to juices are dark. So if our favorite flavors are Geoff's Blend and German Chocolate Cake from TV what clear juices should we be looking at as possible replacements? Figures it is always something. What are the downfalls using our darker juices

Yes- I fell in love after the first tankful. But I've had good reactions to a lot of different PVs only later to find their faults. Nothing that made them bad. I just wanted to give it a couple of weeks to beat the heck out of it.

I also wanted to hear other's impression before I gave it a green light. Call it a sense of responsibility. But my YouTube channel has been getting a lot of traffic and I do not want to steer anyone wrong with misplaced enthusiasm.

Some of the darker juices, by some vendors, use flavorings that contain sugars. Sugars do not vaporize well.. they caramelize on the atomizer. With those types of flavorings you would also shorten the life of a standard atomizer. So the problem is not just with this system. However with the way the eGo-T wicks, anything left behind just sticks to either the wick or the coil.

When I order additional atties at the end of the month I will be tearing one of these apart and seeing exactly how they work.

Regarding the juice, you would have to ask your vendor. Some vendors add things for color or sweetness (I have seen clear chocolate juice. However- but do not remember the vendor).

My disadvantage to helping you further is that I generally vape tobacco juices. Most of the stuff I vape is practically clear. My experience is with Flavourart flavorings for DIY, Dekang juice, and FSUSA juice. Generally speaking, the FSUSA juice is the cleanest I have used. I'm sure there are other vendors that are as clean- but my vendor search has been over for a while and those are what I use.

Considering I have vaped maybe 30ml of TV juice, and none of Geoffs juice- I cannot comment on them.

I'm sorry for not being able to be more helpful. Since my juice tastes are fairly narrow I tend to only comment on hardware.

I am starting to wonder about that exact correlation of clear tobacco-type juice users who seem to have no issues/few problems and love this thing vs users who do use more "complex" juices including maltol, heavy cinnamon base etc. Is this the dividing line on satisfied users vs unsatisfied users? Luckily I fall into the first group, so I guess I will continue to clean out my parts bins of little blue foam plugs, white foam plugs and a small army of regular and mega empty carts. I'll keep a few new ones of each for that day I....uh go back to carts? Not happening.

It's completely possible. There's not enough information or experience to tell for sure.

But it does follow: Those deep dark juices will foul a standard atty pretty good. These tank atties seem more sensitive- it only follows they would be negatively impacted by the sugars in some juice.

How quick are you going through replacing the cartridges? What I mean, is not how fast do you need to refill, but are the puncture caps causing re-usability issues and making you need to purchase more?

Personally I haven't seen that problem at all. Punctured tanks appear to re-seal well on the piercing needle after repeated usage.

Hello Cozzicon. Have you noticed a difference between the normal ego-T atomizer and the ego-T Tawa atomizers. I noticed that the ego-T kit that you have is from Ovale. I know that they have the ego-T atomizer and the ego-T Tawa atomizers. The ego-T tawa atomizers are selling for 6 dollars less then the normal ego-T atomizers and the kit comes with one normal ego-T and one ego-T Tawa atomizer. I'm wondering if their is a noticeable difference between the two atomizers like vapor production, draw, quality, throat hit and/or taste.

No difference on my unit.

I have beat both atties up pretty well. However, be aware that others do seem to be having problems.
