Very slick looking device, just wondering what the hell I'm going to do with the vaping information once it's uploaded to my computer. I'm really not seeing any upside to this, other than filling my hd.

What would you guys plan to do with that info?

Be amazed at how much I'm really vaping?

- record capacity of battery over time
- record history of usage
- ability to find out what nicotine strength is most cost effective for you based on usage

Yeah, I googled it right after you posted the vid in the other thread, first was this thread, then some vids, then a bunch of Korean words, some pics and little flags with "coming soon!" Well how soon dagnabit!! If only it had a replaceable battery, that's the first pitfall I have with it, but if it's priced like the EGO's have been of late, well, might just have to get two!

i believe its going to be in sale this december but im not sure

It could be used in an attempt to build a better device based on actual usage, and what's going on with the device. It's not going to be able to detect who's juice you use or anything personal.

I understand that but as an I.T guy Im usually against proprietary software for a number of reasons, not the least of which is my privacy.

If you give a company, even one with the best of intentions access to your computer others can use that access as a backdoor into your system and can cause some serious damage.

Besides they dont need a computer program to tell them I vape like a fiend.I can do that myself :)

Well, it takes a standard 18650, this is good, $140 for the kit, Meh, not so good. "New revision coming soon!" (They really act excited about it too!) Bit of a red flag there! $105 and you can buy the body and the head, a little better.
I'm still interested, but reserved a bit.

They're talking about firmware as opposed to the device.
