I had SAME issue. O ring, is too soft. As soon as I first put battery in, and tried to tighten cap down, AUTO FIRE. Could NOT get rid of it. I finally bought one of Fat Daddy's blank delrin insulators. It is round with hole in it, you cut outside, to needed diameter, and inside hole to needed diameter, it works FANTASTIC now. ONE company, makes the Overdose with NO lower insulator, like some other
mods, it has a "shelf" of copper, at top of lower insualtor, and battery negative, sits on that metal shelf, THAT damn sure holds it in place. I THINK it is Tesla, thought I have seen others have issues with other Tesla mods. ALL of those companies are going to throw a few junkers out every now and again, That is why I stick mostly to originals, BUT I like to get a clone, so as to have a every day use
mod, and save my original for Showing off in a glass enclosure. That is why I bought the Overdose Clone.
Luck to you, If you still have it, get one of those delrin insulators, use whatever you have and trim the exterior, and I.D. to needed diameters, and go!
